As others have said, the site is awesome, and Katherine and Bo are terrific hosts. Flat spot for the tent and a cozy trailer with all the things you need. We loved hearing many different birds, the wind in the trees, and the ocean when it was still at night. Lots of nice touches were appreciated- a Weber, water inside the trailer and out, a sweet chiminea with some wood and even starter, a line for drying clothes in the sun. Wood chips on the ground made for a comfy tent site, and the Adirondack chairs and picnic table were perfect for hanging out. The amenities in the trailer were unexpected- a small fridge! Instant espresso and a drip coffee maker! A little space heater! WiFi! Power for charging all the things! Best was Bo’s local beta about hikes and things to do in the area. Thanks again, B&K!

A convenient stop over on our way south, the hosts were friendly, but communication could be improved. When I texted and called them about quiet hours due to their teenagers having a party, they never responded. I had to get out of the tent and walk over to the house myself in order to address the noise. The teens were gracious and went inside. The outhouse could also have used a service before our visits. The kitchen space was helpful.

Bo’s place was perfect! As tent campers, we found it had plenty of thoughtful accommodations. The market lights were a great touch, no need for flashlights. The porch platform made for a very comfortable sleep, keeping us off the ground. The outhouse was clean and even had an outlet for charging our phones, which was a convenient bonus.
Overall, it was an easy and enjoyable camping experience. The surroundings were beautiful-the birds, trees, and even the banana slugs were a delight for our son to observe. We stayed here to explore the southern part of the Redwoods, and the location was ideal and about 30 minutes from Prairie Creek.
Bo’s family was peaceful and respectful of our privacy. It’s a truly beautiful place, and we hope to return one day.

Easy to find the spot. Secluded in a rural setting. Very close drive to the beach. Water spigot, pit toilet and lights were great.

We had a great time in this special spot! The lights were super helpful and the deck made setting up the tent easy and comfortable. We loved the animals and the lush green spa w that felt super private, and had everything we needed. We’d love to come back.

Great spot with everything you need! Cool lights, fire pit, grill and picnic setup. We camped in our sprinter van and were able to find level ground in the parking area for huckleberry. Comfortable restroom. Great proximity to the coast and enjoyed a the farm animals hanging out nearby! Definitely recommend!

This is a perfect spot for a chill upgraded camping experience. The parking space was leveled perfectly for the 21 foot camper van we brought. One of us slept in the van and the other in the little camper cabin provided by the host. The site is private though the hosts are not far if you need anything. The chimnea, picnic table, and string lights make for a great campsite. We sat in chairs around the fire and listened to music. We liked it so much we came back for a second night.

My boyfriend and I were very lucky to find this serene and cute tiny home. I would stay there again if I come back to the town. It was very comfortable and warm place.. it is tiny, but it has everything we needed on the road.

The nearby airport makes this spot just about impossible to sleep at. Otherwise everything was great from the cute bathroom to the wonderful fire pit and nook.

I loved this site! We stayed at Huckleberry 1 and it was so enjoyable. Felt extremely private which I was worried about, but the tress and bushes really helped make it feel closed off. The wildlife was fun too, there were wood peckers and a ton of banana slugs. The bathroom was very clean and nice. The lights were very useful since it’s gets so dark out there. The directions were super clear and we had no issue finding the site. It’s also only a 5 min drive to the beach. The fire pit was nice and the platform for the tent was very nice!! Overall I would definitely recommend this site and stay here again!!

This spot is excellent, top tier of hip camp sites I’ve booked! The property is easy to find and close to the beach. There are remote operated lights on site which makes cooking super easy. We had one tent on the platform and a second on the ground no problem. The bathroom is super clean and nice. This was a great spot for Humboldt County adventures and Bo was super responsive. I’d come back in a heartbeat.

The campsite is perfect! Little cabin had everything we needed, with plenty of room outside to sleep and host. They brought us fire wood our first night, and overall the spot was great! Only problem was the water was very cold! But worth it! Overall very great, and would recommend

We booked both sites for a cousins weekend in the redwoods. The use of the grill(s), and small kitchen in the camper was wonderful, and the hanging lights with remote controls made cooking and prepping in the dark after a long day of exploring very convenient. Was nice to have a structure for the bathroom, though it seemed near time to be emptied, and the shower. Heads up, be very quick with the shower (or prepared for a cold one). as the hot water seemed to only last a minute or less. Overall this place was fantastic and bo was responsive to messages, greeted us friendily at arrival and gave us our privacy.

The camp area is beautiful. There are many camping sites around the location so there is plenty of options. This camp site was nice. We enjoyed our time. We avoided using toilet but the rest was great!

A very cute little camping area. Quiet, even though other guests were near by. Having the camper was nice to sit in. We did struggle with getting consistent hot water. Bo was kind to come over and replace the propane tank, unfortunately we still couldn't make it work for us. But that didn't affect our stay as we were only there 2 nights.

Blackberry site--Well located--close to Arcata. Loved the trailer with shower and kitchenette. Grounds for fresh coffee each morning. Overall, very nice campsite. I would stay again.
