Great wine, location, and company!
My husband and I wanted to take a last minute weekend trip and this worked out perfectly. We got there Friday night after sundown. There was a bunch of camping spots available we set up our spot and woke up to the beautiful vineyard. There is a restroom up at the main house on the property where the tasting room is which is a pretty far walk but there is a porta potty near the campgrounds and it was very clean. There is an outdoor shower available, but we decided to just wait until we got home to shower since we only stayed two nights. We did a wine tasting with Roger on Saturday and the wine was absolutely fabulous. We were so impressed! We also got a chance to hang out by the fire pit outside of the house and have s’mores and chat with Roger. He’s a hoot! We will definitely be back to camp here, we really enjoyed our weekend away.

Amazing stay in wine country!
Had a great time staying at Roger's site! Very prompt responses, spacious area, and clean bathroom. He was even gracious enough to let my group reschedule because of a heat wave. Would definitely recommend. The tasting room was also a very enjoyable experience. Roger makes some amazing red wine!

Stars in my eyes and in the sky
Roger met us to let us into his property, and directed us to drive to where the camp sites were. We were lucky that we booked a night without other campers, and we were able to drive around to different sites and pick whichever one we wanted. The layout and location exceeded our expectations! It’s a big, open hilly field with many flat areas and a few scattered big old oak trees. We chose a site that was nearest the hundreds of bleating sheep about 1/4 mile away. The surrounding vineyards are immaculate and beautiful. Once the sun set, the sky turned black and just glittered, thick with stars! I’m glad I had my sky guide app! A truly spectacular and humbling experience! The sunrise, along with hundreds of chattering birds in the tree woke us up in the morning, and I couldn’t think of a better alarm clock! Being September, it was dry and hot after awhile, but we had to move on anyway, so we packed up and headed out. Roger has a clearly marked trash bin conveniently placed near the exit. (There are porta potties around the camp too, but we have our own). Thank you Roger!

We had a nice time!
The site met all our expectations. The only point that would the experience top-notch is if they have additional restrooms and indoor showers. Of course, that they only have one restroom and outdoor showers was made amply clear in the details. Compared to regular park-managed campsites where a grill and fire pit are part of standard configuration, this campsite could have provided a grill at each campsite. Once again, this was made amply clear. Roger was a great host and was extremely helpful. The wine was awesome!!

Amazing time at Camp Paso!!
We spent 2 nights camping with our friends, their toddler + our dog and we all had a great time. The porta potty was clean and located just a short walk from the campsite we choose. There were only about 5-6 campsites occupied which meant we had plenty of space to enjoy our time. The camp is located 15 min from grocery stores, 30 mins from the beach and surrounded by wineries. Our favorite part of this experience was wine tasting at Camp Paso (Stanger wines), Roger was very accommodating and such a pleasure to wine taste with. It was super dog friendly which was an added bonus for us. We will be back!!

Beautiful Starry Skies!
Roger is wonderful and his place is so accommodating! We saw some of the most beautiful sunsets and then got a chance to stare at a big starry night sky after the sun went down. We loved the wine, the outdoor shower and the friendly nature of Roger and his whole staff.
