A six acre organic vineyard & natural winery on 21 acres awaits you at Gold Dust Vineyard. A working natural winery and cidery, come enjoy a glass, relax in the breezes at 2’700 feet. Decomposed granite soils and high elevation make for sweeping views and even better natural wine and cider! We welcome guests year round! Surrounded by nature, there is so much to do! Up in the Foothills, we experience all four seasons! Come relax☮️ March - May 🌸Don’t miss the wildflowers & babbling brooks, steams & rivers June - September 🏞Swimming in the Consumnes River or paddle boarding at Jenkinson Lake September - December 🍂🍁Fall foliage, wine harvest, apple picking and alpaca petting December - March ❄️⛷Snowy hikes, mushroom hunting and quick trips to South Lake Tahoe We accept reservations for wine and cider tastings and typically host guests between the hours of 11 am and 5 pm. Occasionally, during very hot and busy holiday weekends, we will host an evening tasting. We have running water on the side of the winery building. Please note, we are a mom and pop shop with just two of us and our young son running the show. We live on site in a tiny house and use the tasting area as our 'back yard' during off hours. We ask that guests please respect our area and off hours requests. We do not permit live fires or generators.

We also offer wine tasting, vineyard tours and a winemaker blending seminar if you are into the educational aspect of wine. Wine and cider tastings are conducted personally by our owner and winemaker (Aaron) by appointment. If you’re not into “roughing it”, we have the perfect fit for you. A spacious safari tent equipped with a queen sized bed and complimentary cider to enjoy. The site also a private table and chairs for two, your own hammock to stargaze and if you would like, add on a cozy propane fire pit to snuggle up by with a delicious cheese and charcuterie board and a glass of wine. We also have made is more cozy, complete with an electric blanket that each person can adjust!  We are now offering “camping provisions” that will save you the time and effort procuring and packing! Two person bell tent nestled at the base of the vineyard along a seasonal creek. Wake up to stunning views of the Tempranillo block in the vineyard with oak trees shading the site. This bell tent is NOT equipped with a bed or bedding. Bring your own bedding or sleeping bag and bring your own single air mattress or rent one from us! There is a picnic table for your use, string lights and views for days. Please note, if you want to drive your car down to the site, you must have a truck or SUV and be comfortable driving off road. The porto potty is a 5 minute walk up the hill in the main camp site. This site is for those who want an off grid experience. No live fires, propane fire pits and grills ok! You must secure your food items in your car at night. Wine and cider tastings are conducted personally by our owner and winemaker (Aaron) by appointment. My wife and I loved our stay at Aaron’s vineyard. Our camper van was parked over looking the grape vines. We spent Saturday afternoon tasting wine at the outdoor tasting room, with a beautiful sunset. Aaron was very nice and accommodating. Will definitely be back again!

We stayed here to celebrate my husband’s birthday with our 9-month-old, and it was such a wonderful experience. We loved that we could upgrade provisions, we used the propane tank for the fire pit and the pour-over coffee setup, which came with freshly roasted beans (amazing!). The whole place has this relaxing, no-nonsense vibe that we really appreciated. We went during the fall, and it was so beautiful seeing the vines changing color. The electric blanket made our night cozy and comfortable even when it got chilly. Aaron was outstanding. His hospitality, knowledge, and genuine passion for his craft really stood out. We enjoyed wine tasting, hanging out in the “vincade,” and my husband watched a bit of Monday Night Football! The wine was fantastic, and we were so impressed we ended up joining the wine club. The yurt was spacious and comfy, the bed was great, and there was plenty of room for our daughter to crawl around. The portapotty was clean, and everything felt thoughtfully maintained. Just an overall relaxing, memorable trip. Can’t wait to come back!

Aaron was extremely helpful with communication and answering all our questions. Getting to camp, drink wine, and walk the vineyard was an amazing getaway. He was able to squeeze us in for a last-minute wine-making class on top of his busy day. We never felt rushed and truly enjoyed our time on the property. The sunset views were absolutely beautiful as well. 10/10!

Amazing Stay!
Vineyard Bell Tent - Creek
Beautiful surroundings, this site was very private and peaceful. The host was very accommodating and the ability to order extras was much appreciated! We had an amazing breakfast with coffee and breakfast tacos as well as an awesome charcuterie board. We wished we could have stayed longer.

Camping on Aaron's land whis is at a real winery was pretty awesome! It was extremely quiet even though there were two other groups camping at the same time next to us. Did a tasting and the wine and cider is amazing! I would definitely recommend

We loved our 2nd stay at this spot! It’s so peaceful and comfortable in the yurt. The owner is over accommodating and his wines are top tier!! Close to all the other wineries near by, would stay here again and again. Oh also the sunsets are majestic.

We loved this place. We stayed here two nights, one night with a toddler and our dog, and second night joined by four more family members who booked the other tent spot. Aaron was amazing, and took time out of his very busy day to make sure we were comfortable and had everything, and to give us a very generous wine and cider tasting, with lots of stories and generally just a nice hang. The camp spots are on the top of a small hill with plenty of trees to provide shade and privacy. Gorgeous views over the vineyard and of the sunset.

Aaron was a great host! We enjoyed tasting his wines… he even had one my wine adverse husband enjoyed!! Facilities were clean and welcoming. The sunset on the property was breathtaking and well worth the trip. Be aware the campsites are a bit close together, but our neighbors were friendly so it didn’t bother us. Would definitely recommend this stay!

The host was very responsive so had no issue in finding my spot for camping. It was a pit stop for me, while my return trip from Tahoe, so I left early in the morning. Would love to try wine tasting next time. Overall good experience.

As a “Glamping” experience I found this location to be underwhelming. The site is on a slight incline which was noticeable when trying to stay upright in chairs. It was a bigger problem when I sat in the aging hammock and it collapsed underneath me. I would suggest leveling the seating area with a simple deck and adding some nice touches to the very bear bones tent. The porta-potty should be moved down the road so as not to be viewed from the site. The wine tasting area required upkeep such as sweeping away of spider webs etc. A shade is desperately needed in the tasting area to add comfort in the later afternoon. It’s imperative to be punctual with guests. Our host strolled in 15 minutes late with no apology. My goal was to enjoy the Cosumnes River which was quite hard to access. You will want to get specifics on that ahead of time.

Aaron was very nice and communicative. The directions were clear so it was easy to find the vineyard. The yurt we stayed in was so nice, clean, and cozy! The strung up lights outside make for a really pretty night. It is so peaceful and quiet out there. A real serene spot for a weekend away. I loved it and would definitely camp here again!

Beautiful views! Definitely catch a sunset if you can. Very quiet with all of the campers close together. Campsite it beautiful with lots of shade. There are many wineries, places to swim and hike are not too far.

I can’t recommend this place highly enough! Aaron is a fantastic host who makes delightful, creatively inspired wine. The grounds are just gorgeous - perfect for watching the sunset - and the experience is made complete by the truly congenial, welcoming atmosphere. This was a major highlight of my cross-country summer road trip, and I’d enthusiastically direct anyone in the area to make a stop here!
