Broken Branch Creek is a new family farm in Paso Robles, CA. Our land is abundant with with blue oaks, local wildlife, and plenty of walking trails running through it. There is a creek bed, usually dry most of the year, that provides excellent rock hunting and a shady hike with overhanging oaks. The entrance to the camping area is a very wide oil pipe fenced driveway off Branch Road, designed to accommodate farm equipment and cattle trailers. Sometimes map apps say you've arrived at one of the separate residential driveways on the property. Please keep looking for the commercial sized entrance. We are a 15 minute drive to the restaurants and shopping in downtown Paso Robles, 8 minutes to the Vina Robles Amphitheater, 6 minutes to the Hunter Ranch Golf Course, and 5 min to the Sensorio Art Exhibit. We're just off the Union Road Wine Trail among the Back Roads Wineries of Paso Robles.

An Evening In The Oaks.
It was a little hot when we arrived so we checked in with our host via the app. We headed to Avila Beach for the day and waited for the camping area to cool down. Our host was happy to accommodate our late arrival. Each spot was next to a huge Oak Tree, with a picnic bench, and clean restrooms. There was also fresh water from two nearby spigots. Our host was a local rancher and farmer, he knew the area very well. This property is conveniently located near many local wineries and eating establishments, and also a giant water park.

Great spot for us!
It was beautiful. Very private and quiet. We were in an RV and loved it. They were very kind and helpful to us. You have a beautiful look at the stars at night! No lights anywhere. We would have thought there would be WiFi on the property but we didn’t have any.

Basic site near Paso Robles. Water available and a porta pottie. Sites werent numbered so we just parked under an oak tree and that worked for us. Road noise is minimal. Kevin was nice enough when we met him.
