Box Canyon Farm is a truly magical place! The yurt has the coolest vibe, perfectly appointed with everything a small family or a couple looking for a romantic getaway! Nothing is left out, our every need other than food and clothing was there! With a magical trail down to a lovely waterfall stream! A nature lovers dream. And then there is that outdoor tub❤️, to absolutely die for, serene and private. We are hoping to make another trip to Box Cayon Farm soon, this time for much longer! Love the doggies!

Box Canyon Yurt
Really amazing property up in the hills. The yurt is really a yurt + master bedroom and laundry room. The kitchen is well appointed and hosts communicate well. There are great hikes nearby and river rafting is close. The doggies are the best!!!!

Dominy’s yurt is amazing. The second we walked into the property we were all in awe at its beauty. I know it may be hard to believe given how stunning the photos make it looks but it is somehow better than what is pictured. The space is warm with an open layout. I look forward to staying here again and greeting the pups, Duke, Tiny, and Sis!

Our group really enjoyed staying in Dominy’s yurt! It was equipped with everything we needed and more! We had an amazing weekend playing board games and taking a hike, which the two doggos (Tiny and Duke) led us on! We also enjoyed seeing all the hens and horses on the ranch as well as the family’s newest pup, Sis ☺️

We had such a lovely time staying here! A large piece of land with chickens and two dogs, lots of space, trees, and quiet! The hosts were great; good communication. The yurt was well appointed with all amenities and comforts. Nearby to the Trinity River and some nice hiking.

The only thing better than Dominy’s land and yurt is the woman herself! She is such a welcoming and caring host, thoughtful and helpful as well.
The yurt was easy to find and located privately on ten acres of beautiful, secluded land. The space easily accommodated our family of four, and was stocked with everything we could have needed to comfortably stay for several days. The surrounding area provided us with plenty to explore; if a nature lover, do yourself a favor and plan to stay for at least a few days!
We’ll certainly be back to stay again, this was such a positive and memorable experience visiting this wonderful space. Truly a treat!

We loved staying in the box canyon yurt. The accommodations were wonderful and the yurt provided a great relaxing environment. I strongly recommend this place!

Rustic, but not a difficult drive in. Not hard to turn around my long sprinter. Beautiful homestead on 10 acres. Dominy and Cesar are very warm, friendly and welcoming people. They shared their farm fresh eggs and some high quality produce from the farm. The yurt is beautiful and they take great care of it. This is a great place to just relax and forget about time. We even forgot a few things there and Dominy was so sweet to send it to us. Definitely recommend this place. 10 out of 10!!!
