Hot Spring HideOut in Juniper Flats
Beautiful land! Lots of space to feel secluded and just take in nature. Lots of different animals you encounter (kangaroo rat, jack rabbit, coyotes, owner’s personal dogs). The outhouse was clean and well provided. Easy access to the hotsprings! Great time! Considering going back!

Hot Spring HideOut in Juniper Flats
Camp at your own risk
Staff were rude and unresponsive to issues on the campground. Many of us arrived at night and got yelled at for not seeing the signs for check in. There are multiple trailers on the property and difficult to see which one is the check in. Our people were asked to pay even though we had reservations for multiple people. Someone even double paid because they were getting yelled at for being accused of not having a reservation. Our neighbors got locked out of their car and asked for a jimmy to break in since services refused to come to the property. They waited all day in the cold with no food or water. They almost needed to call law enforcement to help them. Luckily someone in our camp helped. So all in all I don’t recommend this place mostly due to how it’s managed. The only upside was the yurt that was equipped with a heater.
BTW, they tell you not to go to the shack because we learned that guy claims to be the original owner of the Bowen Ranch name and is angered that this property is using it. Who knows what the reality is but don’t get caught in the crosshairs of this property name dispute.

Hot Spring HideOut in Juniper Flats
Amazing tent sites, well spread out. The amenities were clean and well managed. Staff was friendly and helpful, as were the other campers when we realized our car battery died they were helpful in getting us up and running.
Campsites are very close to the trailhead for the hot springs, overall one of our favorite campsites we’ve been too! Will definitely be back.

Tent camping was amazing! Such a beautiful place and so close to the LA area, just a 2 hour drive. The hike down to the hot springs was EPIC. Gorgeous views all around and such a dynamic landscape. We had to cross the river to get to the springs (so cold) but it’s worth it! This place exceeded my expectations, pictures don’t do it justice. Highly recommend and will be back for more. :)

Camping at lovely place
Wow it was so incredible this was an amazing place .👌 Brent and Jessica make our day they were very nice and they made sure our tents were good always checking if we needed anything or to see is everything was okay👌. At night it was a wonderful view 😉I loved the hot springs we really enjoyed it at night time 😍 we feel very safe and comfortable .
Brent make sure Our way to the zip line was super fun . We had Amazing time at the zip line love it ♥️was my favorite part 👌✌️😉we really highly recommend this wonderful place

Hooked on Glamping!
We were prepared to camp for 2 nights and saw the Glamping sites were available…amazing! Totally hooked!!! The tent was spacious, clean, warm n cozy. The amenities were simple yet sufficient. The camp hosts were kind and accommodating. I recommend the breakfast…one of each. Looking forward to returning for sure. Cheers to Brent and the crew!!!

Really a simple drive out and once there it was perfect. Came in late at night and we were the only ones out there. Got to enjoy the meteor shower next to an awesome fire. Would like to go back and do some exploring as this was a quick night trip. There is a near by hot springs would like to go see as well

Perfect primitive but safe camping
There are so many options to choose from when picking your camping spot! I can also see this would be a GREAT place to come with a group. Brent and Jess are very welcoming and friendly, the land is beautiful, they’ve added picnic tables and fire pits, as well as roads to make things easier. The hotsprings walk took me a little longer than expected, but that has more to do with me than the directions. And omg they are worth every step! I highly recommend this place if you’re looking to get away from it all. They have everything from a private spring oasis, to glamping, to primitive camp spots. Something for everyone!

Great place to rest away from the city but not too far from it. Can see the stars at night . The tent is huge and has everything we need from extra comforters to inside heater. Will definitely come back here, still need to visit the hot springs 45 minutes from camp

Great time in the desert
Thanks so much for the great stay! While cold (low 30s at night), Brent quickly got the generators going providing power at important times. They were extremely responsive to us, showed up at our tent for breakfast the next day and were two of the most caring hosts we’ve ever encountered. With their expanding facilities, I can see this becoming more and more popular--and the hike to the hot springs was well worth it.

I highly recommend this peaceful place to anyone who’s looking for a weekend getaway. The tents are large with plenty of comforters. They turn the heat inside the tents for a couple of hours and there’s a sofa and tables to eat inside. We’re definitely coming back to visit the hot springs. Thank you for all your hospitality and great service !

Good spot, not quite as described
The setting is lovely, though a bit remote. I was surprised by how many campsites were there, more than the 5 described on Hipcamp, and some very close together. Fortunately, we managed to get a nice site that was removed from the others, so that worked out ok. The description lists that a water spigot is available, but we couldn’t find one anywhere, so we were reliant on bottled water for everything. The description also says that grills are available for the fire pits, but the only ones they had were tiny grates that we had to prop up on the rocks. Overall, we still had a good time, but there were more challenges than I anticipated when booking with Hipcamp.

Private Hot Spring Pool Sanctuary
Best campsite EVER!!!!
I cannot say enough wonderful things about this paradise of a campsite! From the moment we arrived, everything about this place was perfect. The directions were very clear and the site was even better than it appears in the listing photos. The site was super spacious and accommodated the vehicles and tents of all 48 people in our group without us having to pitch tents in the main common area. The private hot spring pools were so awesome and such a special treat...I mean when do you ever have a hot tub while camping out in the desert!? SO COOL! The site was equipped with plenty of power, and we used the BBQ grill both nights...and when the propane tank ran out, Brent was so quick to replace it. Brent was SO accommodating and fulfilled all of our special requests in such a timely manner. It was really special and RARE to have our own private oasis, away from all the other campers. Total and complete privacy, we never saw another person while we were there. Must I not forget to mention the hike to the hot springs which was absolutely spectacular and the trailhead was conveniently located about 100 yards from the campsite. This has got to be my new favorite campsite in Southern California...thank you Brent and Deep Creek for the best 30th birthday weekend EVER!!!

Not expected
We had a great time, the host were helpful and friendly. The hike dawn to the hot springs more than we expected but we did it and made it back. We had a wonderful time in the water. (Very relaxing) camp was clean and lots of sites, overall I would recommend to my friends and family
