HIPCAMP keeps my money
I had to cancel an hour before I arrived, because of the weather was too hot for my dogs. I did not realize how hot it was in Northern California, the host was kind of helpful, but not really. Even though the Host can cancel on the app or website they did not offer to do that, so they get to keep my money. On my app the "cancel button" was gone, and hip camp support is NOT HELPFUL at all, it's just AI talking to you, not a human. Therefore, I would not recommend using HIPCAMP at all. Even though you cancel within the terms the Host gets to keep your money.
Don't use HIPCAMP.

Perfect Place; Perfect Hosts
Angelica & her sister Alex (don't ask me who was whom 😇) met me at their home & guided me to my site. It was just as beautiful as the photo on the website. Little solar lights were strung around the perimeter (They showed me how to disconnect if I wanted it dark for stargazing); there was a gift basket on the little picnic table w/bottled water, chips, & nature bar; wood for a campfire was in another basket; & they gave me a fire starter. They also showed me a trail if I wanted to hike... beautiful wooded area with a variety of trees... & birds galore. Quiet, cozy night. Thank you, Angelica & Alex for a memorable stay.

This places is everything we wanted for a relaxing few days with campfires and hiking with our pup in nature! Angelica is an amazing host and made sure we had everything we needed and more!
The campsite is on a secluded part of the property out of site of any structures and right next to a modest network of hiking trails. The owners were very welcoming and had a fire pit, camping chairs, picnic table, water spigot, and trash/recycle cans available for use. The campground was very clean with solar powered lights for the evenings.
Our dog loved running around the area off leash and sniffing everything. We were able to graze the forest for firewood and cook on the campfire. Also, we also had surprisingly good cell reception in the area.
Would highly recommend if you're looking for a chill couple of days outside enjoying a campfire and some leisurely hiking.
