Awesome spot with beautiful view! Just would be nice if the ppl around weren’t so noisy. Still feels very secluded. Would totally recommend.

Big Bear Foothill High Desert Camp
Jossue’s land is great, with beautiful views of the stars during the night and the surrounding mountains during the day.
Campground is exactly as described. Very secluded and quiet, which is what we were looking for.
The site was very clean, despite a beer can here and there from prior campers. Nothing that interfered with our enjoyment.
Jossue was amazing, with easy to follow directions and helpful tips about the weather.
We would absolutely camp here again.

The location was that bad, but what was bad was everything else.
Trash was left everywhere, and the "outhouse" was not properly dug so kind over overflowing and toilet paper flying away. Bullet cases are left everywhere. Nothing is being maintained here.

Big Bear Foothill High Desert Camp
We had so much fun camping at Jossue’s land. Jossue was really responsive and answered all my questions. The kids had fun with the corn hole, glow on the dark darts, jenga, and jungle gym. The guys were about to go shooting not too far away. We will definitely be coming back. Thanks Jossue!

We enjoyed camping on Jossue’s Land. It was great to get away from the city. There is plenty of room for multiple families. Jossue was very informative, quick with replies and detailed.

Overall this site was a nice a place to have a fire, look at the stars, and rest my head, especially at a fair price. I also want to highlight with how helpful and communicative Jossue was - navigation, check-in, and all were super easy.
However, the site was generally messy - there were some building materials scattered about, and the trashcan and toilet were full from previous campers. The neighbor also ran a generator all night, which wasn’t terrible but certainly affected the nature/camping vibe.
I would stay here again, but it wouldn’t be my first choice.

Camping with desert colors

Big Bear Foothill High Desert Camp
Amazing views. We lit a nice fire and enjoyed a glass of wine while the sunset lit up the clouds and mountains with amazing colors. The night was peaceful and cool which allowed us to get a great nights sleep.
We ride dual sport motorcycles so after a quick 10 minute ride we made it to the BLM area where we rode for hours. We would definitely return.

Big Bear Foothill High Desert Camp
Great location! Lots of open desert with Joshua trees all around. We did some small and fun hikes right from the campsite. And so close to Big Bear Lake. Was an easy, 30 minute drive up to ski during the day. Would stay there again!
