Yurting is amazing.
It was wonderful and so peaceful! Kristina has created a place that is very eco friendly (solar powered) and relaxing. I admit I was nervous about the composting toilet, but it was really easy to get used to. I could stay there for weeks and not miss the real world at all. Our dog was happy and relaxed. There’s a lot of good, easy hiking nearby.

What a dreamy place!
Wow, what a special place! It was perfect for our outdoorsy family of three. The outdoor bathroom was so well done, it even made my daughter excited to shower each night. We could hear owls and coyotes while tucked in the comfy bed, and spending time near the tasting room at the tables, enjoying the sunset and eating dinner was a great highlight. Kristina is a great host and we hope to come back.

Detailed Bliss
This was the first time glamping and staying in a yurt, for my boyfriend and I. We stayed two nights in early August. The outdoor temps were in the low 90’s. At night, they were in the upper 60’s.
The directions given by Kristina beforehand and her overall communication were excellent. The yurt is hidden and is in a safe area. The dirt road may be easier for cars to handle, but in his truck, the nearby branches scratched the top and side, so hopefully they can be trimmed for future guests. :) Inside was HOT. It was 99.5°, which was unbearable. It took time to read the binder (aka your bible), start the generator, and get the AC unit to work. Even still, it took hours to cool the place down, so it wasn’t comfy right away. A polite suggestion may be for the place to be around 80° when guests arrive, but even still the unit has a hard time beating the brutal outside temps. Once sunset hit, the inside was perfect! The candles, lantern lights, and ambience make it romantic, We couldn’t find matches or a lighter, but had one in the truck. We brought a single kcup machine, which was perfect. The fridge kept stuff cold that we brought and it was nice to have two filled ice trays. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Actually, his best sleep in a long time! The outdoor bathroom/shower is fun and funny, which many reviews mention. The shower was frustrating, as it either scalded you or had you shivering. You could find that perfect water temperature for about 8 seconds before it would shift on you. So those were the fastest showers we ever took. Welcome to glamping! ;) Our favorite winery was Turtle Rock Ridge and we also enioyed the hike we did at the Ramona Grasslands Preserve. We also caught some cool races at Barona Speedway. We highly recommend Marinade on Main, for breakfast. Fantastic. Another suggestion is to visit Mt. Woodson Golf Course and the castle on site. Built in 1921, it’s quite impressive and the greens/fairways are too.
We would 100% book this yurt again, but would choose spring or fall or early summer.

My stay at Kristina's Yurt was fantastic. Every detail was thought out. It was clean, the bed extra comfy and the attention to detail spot on. I had wifi service so was able to work with no problem. The air-conditioner was quiet and kept us comfortable and cool. We were 30 minutes from Solona beach so our fur baby could visit dog beach in next to no time at all. The community was quiet and I felt safe and secure. I would recommend this glamping Yurt for single woman or couples looking to get away. Also is a good spot for artists and songwriters!

Great Stay at VineYurt
Our stay at the VineYurt was great! The Yurt had everything we needed for a little weekend getaway. The propane space heater kept us warm throughout the night. The kitchen has everything you need to cook and the bed was nice and comfy. The yurt and the bathrooms were clean and well kept. Just be careful of the bunnies/critters trying to run off with the toilet paper! Kristina was a great host and very responsive. Capped off our stay with a tasty bottle of wine from the Kohill Winery.

Wonderful Place
We had a great time at the Yurt. It was just what we wanted for our anniversary. Getting away from the city and back into nature. The place is comfy and my wife loved all the cool little touches that Kristina put into the place.
The Yurt is stocked with everything you could need for your stay. We weren't to sure about this so we actually brought some of our own cooking supplies and towels. We did not need to use any of them. Even a nice water and food bowls are provided for the dog. Just bring your food and you are good to go.
If you are going in the colder months, I do suggest you bring a hat or hoodie to sleep in. The Yurt gets warm with the heater, but the bed is against the wall, the outside cold will suck the heat out of your head. Remember this is still camping.
We were able to head up to Palomar mountain and do a hike on a portion of the Pacific Crest Trail which is only about 45 min away from the Yurt.
We had a great time and would do it again.

The entire place was so charming and a nice getaway. Kristina is so thoughtful with the small details. My favorite part was the outdoor shower. Also, there are many wineries very close and one is even walking distance. Overall, I would recommend this yurt and stay here again.

Owls hooting & beautiful sunrise
Perfect place! The yurt has everything one needs, super comfortable, wonderful outdoor bathroom. It is beautifully decorated, feels very cozy, especially at nights with small lights and in the morning, in the sunrise. We have enjoyed the sounds of coyotes and owls at night, even the rain! Wonderful retreat from everyday busyness.

Wonderful Glamping Experience
Lovely Yurt and stay. Unfortunately it rained and was cold the entire weekend of our stay but the Yurt was extremely comfortable, warm, and just as magical as pictured. The host thought of everything and the bathroom was very special like other reviewers have stated. We loved all the horses close by to the property and the Yurt is indeed amongst a vineyard which was beautiful. Very special place.

Absolutely wonderful
This is a truly special place! The yurt is so secluded in a beautiful vineyard in the mountains. Our favorite room was the bathroom! Just great vibes throughout, would most definitely recommend to a friend :)
