Once an ancient Redwood grove full of mature redwood trees towering 250 feet in the air, This is a beautiful piece of property, very private, with an old growth Redwood snag still remaining and 30 foot diameter re-sprouted Redwood fairy rings. it has its own private entrance. In the redwood forest, lots of trees and other vegetation. Good wildlife watching area. 4 miles from the ocean. Campsites have own access point. Pack it in, pack it out. Please be respectful of neighbors and land around you. 2 sites available - both with potable water, and area for campfires (outside of any burn ban), and toilet access. Firewood available for fee. Pets allowed. Guests love staying here: "This was such a treat. Nathan was a responsive, present host--made sure we had all of the wood we wanted. We were tucked away in the woods with great amenities... bathroom included. There is a beautiful tree on the campsite that made the whole experience magical. And my pup was free to run and around and bring me sticks. I will definitely come back again!"

Sunset Cabin
Perfect for a couple - has it all!
Loved the vibe at the Baby Banana Slug Farm, really laid back and cool. The cabin was very cosy and warm and perfect for the two of us. Really appreciated the kitchen with a full arrangement of pans, pots, utensils, tea towels, fridges, cookers and a KETTLE!!!!! Being from Australia we are used to having full camp kitchens at caravan parks and other camping facilities. It doesn’t seem to be a thing over in the US - at least not in the places we’ve stayed so this was perfect for us. Shame we could only stay for one night, definitely worth staying longer and exploring the area more thoroughly.

Sunshine Cabin
This little cabin was perfect for a weekend getaway! The cabin was clean and cozy! The bathroom is shared but it was also very clean and the water pressure for the shower was amazing. I didn’t use the kitchen area but again it was very clean and looked well equipped (fridge, camp stove, etc.) all in all it was a great property to stay at and the scenery nearby is unbeatable. Also a major plus that it is pet friendly :)

Mushroom Cabin
Cozy and beautiful space!
Nathan's place was amazing. The space was small and cozy and located on a tiny lot with several other cabins. The bath house was really amazing! Nice design and hot shower water. There's also a beautiful wood shop on location that we browsed around and found some amazing redwood slabs for a project! Would definitely go back.

Sunset Cabin
VERY DISAPPOINTED
There were a few things I did not care for. One being false advertisement. The room/ cabin didn't look like the picture shown in the advertisements. Two someone's finger and hand prints on my motorcycle after I was told people wouldn't touch other people's objects. Third the temped water for taking a shower in sixty degree weather. Fourth rules are there for a reason. Otherwise I wouldn't be out and additional 300 because I would have been coming back to camp after you were post to be quiet. Only to be in camp the next night and here someone down at the camp communal at after 10:30 p.m. stomping around. Otherwise I did enjoy Casper Bay, Mendocino, Fort Bragg and every were else I went.

Lovely experience
So peaceful. We enjoyed sitting around the campfire looking up at the beautiful trees. Nathan was helpful and friendly. He stocked us with plenty of firewood, but also gave us our privacy.
