Tiny House
Could be very cool, some cons
I really really wanted to love this place. Maybe it was the wrong time of year to visit but it was a little bit of a letdown and we left a day early. The bad: No campfires (even gas) were allowed due to high fire risk (understandable but a bummer) and the swimming pond was really low water (also understandable being the 1st of October). The thing that got me about the swimming hole was that it was bright blue green like toilet bowl additive. Idk what's giving it that color but it was really off putting and dark, and we did not feel comfortable swimming in it. Important note; the Tiny House is right on the side of the road so if you're looking for seclusion this isn't exactly it. The good: The llamas and all the animals are great! We met Trevor's wife who was very nice. The little lit up jars marking the trails was adorable. May be a good place for some, just not good timing for us.

Tiny House
The tiny house was so cute!! So much attention to detail in the house and all over the property! We were in the middle of a heat wave when I was there so I didn’t get to hike/explore as much as I would have liked (middle-aged, out-of-shape mom of 2 so the heat and hills combined to limit my time outside) but the trails were so carefully dug out, some were lined with little solar lights - it was all really thoughtful. I would definitely recommend - though it would be nice to have a fan in the sleeping loft during the hotter months as the a/c doesn’t really make it up there. Overall, great place for a little getaway!

Great for a nice getaway❤️
Beautiful area! Super cute house, and the owner was super sweet. Easy to find. I would recommend air upstairs and maybe a full length mirror on the corner downstairs to get ready.

Perfect little getaway! The house was very clean as well. Has fridge, microwave, pots, pans you name it. Their ranch dog was so friendly and would greet us every time we came back to the property. Farm animals were so cute and it was so fun exploring the property. I would highly recommend staying here!

Very cute tiny house. A/C was running when my sister and I got there so it was very cool inside. The lights in the trees and pathways gave it a magical atmosphere. Would definitely go back again.

Tiny House
Relaxing weekend getaway
A weekend at Trevor and Rachel’s tiny home was just what we needed. We spent a majority of our time cooking meals and eating them on the porch, petting all the animals, and floating in the swimming hole. The property is fun to explore and we’d love to come back and bring friends. +1 on the pre-downloading shows though we were able to download on-site and watch after. There is salt and pepper but bring any other spices you’d need and cooking oil. Besides that, the house is thoughtfully built and had everything we needed.

Comfortable weekend getaway
The tiny house was great! Well-furnished and well-equipped, with everything the two of us needed for a weekend getaway. There was a space heater to keep warm during the slightly chilly nights, plenty of outlets for charging, the kitchen had pretty much everything we could need (pans/utensils/dishware, toaster, fridge, microwave, etc.), and the essentials like soap/towels/etc. were fully stocked and available to use. Self check-in and check-out were easy and straightforward. Trevor shared detailed instructions on how to get to the house the day before to make the drive stress-free and was kind enough to let us check out late since we slept-in. We also had the pleasure of meeting Trevor the morning after we arrived and he gave us a rundown of all the places of interest on his property. We spent a bunch of time just watching the alpacas, sheep, and ram! The internet was reliable, but just a tiny bit on the slow side, so you may want to pre-download any streaming content for offline watching. All-in-all a great experience and hope to return for a future visit!

Tiny House
The Tiny House was an amazing get away for me and my girlfriend. Trevor and his wife were incredible hosts and helped make our stay unforgetable. They will do what ever is necessary to ensure that their guests have a good time. The Tiny House itself was incredibly clean, tastefully decorated and fully stock with high quality cookware. Some of the awesome amenities included: Brand new gas grill Fireplace and wood Amazing light displays on both the nearby tree and barn Hiking trails throughout the property Secluded patio w/ chairs and table along the trail behind The Tiny House Hot water and good water pressure in the shower Heater and air conditioning units If you are looking for a nice cabin off the beaten path, but still within driving distance of a downtown I could not recommend this place more highly. Part of me wants to keep The Tiny House a secret so we can come back without needing to book months in advance.

Trevor and Rachel were wonderful to work with and made us feel as comfortable as they could during my family's stay. They both went above and beyond to make sure all our needs were met for a family event. The space itself was incredible, and you can tell there is much care and attention to the space – it is rugged, and extremely comfortable. We will be coming back again for sure, and we are all grateful we were able to work people as kind as Trevor and Rachel.

Adorable and surprisingly well equipped tiny house. Perfect for our short getaway! The hosts were amazing and thought of everything. They made us feel very welcome, and welcome to explore! FYI it is next to a country road, so it isn't totally isolated, but you do feel light years away from the typical Bay area life. Thanks for a great trip!

Felt very welcomed by Trevor and comfortable right away with a nice flat space overlooking Mines Road. Plenty of dry fire wood around the site and plenty of room for any sized tent. Outhouse was clean and convenient. The clearing allowed a wonderful view of the full moon that lit up the entire campground. It was a hot sunny weekend, and although there were plenty of trees nearby to sit under the shade, we'll definitely bring an extra canopy next time. Del Valle Lake is a short drive up Mines Rd. to explore and cool off.

Tiny House
The Tiny House is more than what you expect in the pictures. The space is really cozy, making you immediately feel like you're home. Expect courteous hosts and a lovely space that is well-decorated, clean, and well-equipped! The space had anything necessary to cook with (pot, utensils, plates, even olive oil!). There's also a bbq and outdoor firepit for late-night s'mores! Overall a lovely experience!

Livermore Hills
Trevor and his wife were amazing . The site was clean and equipped with a picnic table, toilets, gas grill, large tent and a fire pit. Trevor provided the wood, water bucket & shovel. It is close to the road, but the low traffic was not distracting. The creek was very low at the end of July. We saw quails, hawks and the Stars at night. The shade moved around the site, so it was comfortable at the site most of the day. We were able to stay up later and listen to music without worry. I neighbor was concerned about the fire later in night. Called the fire department but we simple put at the small fire. We went wine tasting at Bent Creek. It was a great winery, wine tasting, vineyard and owners. I would go again , because it's a quick drive from the Bay Area. You get a lot of camping in a weekend. The site would probably be better when the creek is running. We didn't not explore de valle park, or porch.

Livermore Hills
This review is long overdue... We visited Livermore Hills for Memorial Day weekend in May and it was the best plan we could have made! Trevor was super friendly and a wonderful host. We camped with five people and had the run of the land to choose our favorite camping and hangout spots. He was kind enough to bring his gas grill from his house and had cleaned off a big open spot with a picnic table and a campfire pit. We spent most of our days lounging by the cool and refreshing creek, floating around the idyllic little pond, or chillin with cold beers in the terrace perched over his little valley. There was no need to go anywhere else. It was rad all around and more than we had hoped for. Who knew.... Livermore?!

We had such a lovely stay at the Tiny House! It's in a perfect secluded location - there is a patio for grilling, a beautiful fire pit to cozy up beside at night - glamping at its best. There is no cell service, but the Tiny House has wifi. Definitely will come back :)

The spot is awesome! Easy to get to, with a grill, a port-a-potty, and a firepit. There is a creek right at the spot with all manner of frogs and salamanders to watch, and is lovely to wade in. It is pretty close to, and visible from, the road - so bring a bathing suit!

A little slice of heaven. My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay at The Tiny House. The Smiths were wonderful hosts with helpful tips on what to do in the area. The location is the perfect spot to explore East Bast wineries, visit Lake Del Valle, or hang out in downtown Livermore. I highly recommend staying here!

We camped here as our first ever camping trip with our baby girl. It was great! The site is VERY well kept, no ant hills or overgrowth. It was a perfect spot for our daughter to get her hands dirty and vocalize without disturbing others (at least I hope she didnt!) The creek is beautiful and accessible, perfect on a hot day. The patio is also a perfect hike, and we had happy hour together both nights we were there. We were welcomed with cookies and wine. It could not have been better. Thank you Trevor!

Tiny House
The tiny house was an amazing experience. The description is accurate and exactly what I was looking for. Trevor was great, kept in constant communication and answered all my questions. Him and Rachel left us a bottle of wine and baked us cookies. The house had everything needed for a weekend and the fire pit was the highlight. They kept the wood stocked for us and even joined us for some wine. We did wine tasting and enjoyed some kayaking on lake Del Valle. The wineries are only about 30 minutes away as is the lake. I will definitely recommend this house to anyone and will no doubt be back myself. Great Weekend! Thanks again!

Tiny House
We adored our stay at the tiny house. Trevor and Rachel were great hosts, we loved meeting them and their family. We were greeted with a bottle of wine and fresh baked cookies, which we enjoyed on the patio after a hike up to the pond. Up the road past the pond are a set of couches and a cooler at the perfect look out spot to end the day, or watch the sunrise, if you're feeling ambitious! The house itself is really well-done. It's beautifully crafted with charming decor and, for a tiny house, has plenty of room to cook and relax. We loved having the windows open to the night air, but the upstairs has a stove if you are staying during colder winter months. The location is beautiful and would be great alternative lodging for events at local wineries (although, the drive up the hill is no joke). We saw several deer and rabbits and loved meeting the family chicken and peacock!
