Shamballa Cabin, eco-preserve
Great remote location, close drive to rivers. It is not exactly glamping but it meets the requirements . Wifi certainly helped with planning and hassles of bringing lots of camping equipments. Inside the shamballa cabin, there were good amount of dust collecting in the bed room but its was not a big deal. However the bed, blanket, and pillows has a bit of rustic charm to it with stains and very well used for a long time.. not sure if the rooms was missed for cleaning. Overall, communication with Adam is very good, he respond to many of our questions and promptly replaced propane for the stove when it ran out. There were ample amount of bed sheets, clean towels and stocked kitchen utensils. Having shower is nice plus but the tub can be cleaner.
We enjoyed our time there as it is very quiet and remote

Maidu Park Campground
Weekend getaway
We loved our weekend getaway. The campsite had a beautiful view, full of trees and green. Very refreshing! There are plenty of cool spots to swim and hike nearby as well. We definitely recommend it!

Maidu Park Campground
Yuba, Stars, and Golden Hour!
We loved the camping experience at Maidu Park! The space we chose was perfectly shaded but speckled with sun during golden hour which was beautiful. The sites circle around this big open field and while some sites are closer than others, ours was perfectly private.
We were at first nervous about the first come first serve but when we arrived we still have options and was able to pick the perfect spot for us.
Many locations, including the one we selected, included a picnic table and water which was perfect. We also loved being so close to the Yuba and having the ability to take a hot shower upon return. Also the outhouse was actually quite cute and well taken care of!
I would mention to definitely bring bug spray and such as there was a good amount of flies and mosquitoes.
We spent the days by the Yuba, and the nights cozied under the stars. A perfect weekend!

Serenity Cabin
We had a great time on Adam's property for Labor Day weekend! We stayed in Serenity cabin and it had everything we needed in the kitchen, comfy beds, a great porch to sit out on in the evenings. Both the outhouses and main house bathroom and shower were a very short walk. Adam was great with information and quick to respond with any questions we had. We loved it here and would definitely stay again.
