Welcome to Bedrock Valley Ranch, set on rolling land in Santa Margarita. Our restored 1955 Airstream is glamping at its best, with sweeping views of mountains and open sky. The Airstream sleeps four and includes a shower, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, composting toilet, and outdoor picnic area. Enjoy plentiful wildlife, excellent star gazing, and proximity to the region's lovely beaches and wineries. Quiet, scenic, and conveniently close to Highway 101.The Silver Rose vintage Airstream is designed for comfort and ease, blending classic style with modern essentials. She comfortably sleeps up to four guests, making her well suited for couples, families, or close friends. Inside, you’ll find a private shower, a new composting toilet, and a compact yet functional kitchenette equipped with a coffee maker, microwave, and refrigerator for simple meals and relaxed mornings. Water from both sinks is potable, naturally sourced well water—clean, refreshing, and drawn straight from the land. Clean linens, towels, and other essentials are provided. Outside, a dedicated picnic area invites you to dine under the open sky, sip coffee at sunrise, or unwind in the evening with the sounds of nature all around. Wide-open views span rolling ranch land, lush mountains, and endless sky—changing light by day, glowing sunsets by evening, and star-filled darkness at night. It’s a cozy, self-contained space that lets you enjoy the outdoors without giving up the conveniences that make a stay truly comfortable. Notes on property Wifi: No wifi, but most 5G services available. Cooking: Airstream has a microwave, toaster, and coffee maker. You also have access to an outdoor 1 burner propane hotplate- for outdoor use only. Toilet: Airstream has a modern (new) composting toilet, which means no flush! Very earth friendly and instructions provided in bathroom. Only #1, #2, and toilet paper go into the toilet, please. Be fire safe: We are on the northern border of Los Padres National Forest and a very high wildfire risk area. Be wildlife safe: This is forest, so you may see lots of critters! Skunks, snakes, bobcats, turkeys, and you-name-it. Steer clear and do not feed wild animals. Be mindful of poison oak, there is plenty!
