Booked last min trip.
For the price, timing and location I couldn’t be happier. It was a safe place for me and my girl to stay with a bathroom and shower available.
Didn’t have to worry about anyone messing with our stuff or car compared to staying in the city.
This was located on a ranch. Basic set up that had a gate we can lock and unlock whenever we needed to leave which is nice. Compared to some other camp spots anyone can walk on the property/park.
We had some deer visitors that welcomed our stay which was really nice to see.
It would have been nice to be able to set up a fire pit.
Maybe in the future there can be dug out dedicated spots to enjoy a fire.
During dry season through its understandable.
We visited Monterey and Santa Cruz during our stay.

Camping under the tree in the host’s yard was a surprisingly relaxing experience. The spot felt private and shaded, and having access to a toilet and shower just a short walk away made everything super convenient. The natural ambiance really made it special peacocks and other animals roam nearby, so you get to enjoy their sounds in the background. It added a peaceful, almost tropical vibe to the stay. Would definitely recommend for anyone who enjoys a low-key, nature-infused camping spot with a few comforts!

Edward was amazing, he was a fantastic host, communicated extremely well and was very nice to myself and my partner during our trip even when I myself was a little bit bad about communication. I highly recommend a stay with Edward.

Camping at 1000 Ranch was a perfect overnight stay for my dog and I! I felt safe and comfortable, and my dog enjoyed exploring the campsite on a long leash. Edward gave great clear instructions that helped me get settled in the site soon after arriving. 10/10, would stay again!

Edward was an amazing host! Clear instructions and details, gave us a proper tour of the place and was very attentive; land was pretty and well kept, bathroom and shower were close and easy to get to, very quiet for a restful sleep.

We had a wonderedful expiernce at Edwards property. Beautiful sunset, pond, and horses to pat. Clean bathroom, flat ground, and secure. Edward was very nice and made us feel welcomed while respecting our privacy. Would reccomend to anyone!

The bathroom was clean and close... And the land was flat to pitch a tent under a tree. The host was very nice. We had a good time.

The land was nice and very spacious and private! The bathroom was a plus and was easily accessible. Drove down to pinnacles national park the next day and the location was very convenient. Overall had a great experience at Edward’s.

The bathroom was in okay shape but pretty dirty due to dust and hay. The potable water was not explained and there were no instructions sent on how to access it.

Super friendly host. Easy access and plenty of space. Great as a cost efficient stop on a longer trip.
In September it wasn't green like in the pictures, but that's to be expected.
My kid loved it, he spent the whole time collecting walnuts and putting them in "squirrel holes".
Pinnacle isn't far either and we had a ton of fun there.

Edward is a great host, he met us at the bottom of driveway so we could follow him to the camp site. He is very hospitable and offered access to full restroom with hot/cold water sink, toilet, shower. Beautiful drive to his location and amazing views. All you hear is nature and all the local farm animals like horses, chickens and nature. Beautiful Stars blanket the sky at night like diamonds and waking up to beautiful sunrise. 👍

Pros: great location, very close to wineries. Edward, our host, was very gracious & helpful. He loaned us a table (site does not come with one) & was quick to respond to my communication.
Cons: site is very bare bones. It’s really just a field with 2 trees. There is a bathroom guests can use through the owner’s garage. The location was more residential than I was expecting.

This place was wonderful! It was close enough to town that you could go grab food, but private enough to feel safe. We were taking a last minute trip to Moss landing and Santa Cruz, so I was hesitant about how far away this would be, but the drives were quick and beautiful. This was a great no frills way to visit the area.

Stayed at the tent site on Edwards property on my way to Big Sur. He greeted me upon arrival (9PM) and he showed me around. The camping spot is under the big tree and it’s pretty quiet at night! Ran into some deer and an owl in a tree near the RV. The shower is in the RV and it’s the type where the shower and toilet are in one. Only thing is it’s a little crammed because of that. I’m 5’9” so it felt like a bit of a small space but still did its job. Would recommend and camp there again if needed.

Edward was a great host, very welcoming and accommodating! And the property is a beautiful respite from the city. Even had some wildlife passing through. I had a great stay and would absolutely stay again!

This land is awesome for fly camping. Beautiful landscape when you get in the air. Rolling fog banks in the distance and awesome valleys. Campsite had everything you really need, and is very relaxing. Lots of wildlife and farm life in the area.

Edward is a very nice man and his property is just perfect. He welcomed us upon arrival and presented to us a gift bag of walnuts grown from his trees. It was a very peaceful and beautiful place to camp and relax. We will definitely camp here again!
