This is a 5 acre property with multiple houses. I built a campsite that is about 200ft from the house, so it is close, but private. There are trails through the back of the property which is forested. They lead to the Sea to Sea regional park for amazing hiking and mountain biking opportunities.
This site is a decent size, but a tight turn into it. We have gotten a tent trailer in there...it was a just tight!

Testing out our rooftop tent!
Great basic campsite, directions to the spot were a little confusing though. Had running water from a hose which was handy. A pop up bathroom on the site, did not try out as we only stayed one night. Was too bad there was a fire ban would have been nice to use the pit. The picnic table was nice to be able to have our meals and sit by as we forgot our chairs.
Overall nice quiet site at the back of their property with a nice wooded scenery.

To be honest, we didn’t end up using the campsite. So my review is on how lovely Daniel was to speak with. And very accommodating. We simply had other plans that didn’t slow us to get out to Sooke.

Little spot with good privacy
Daniel was really friendly, he gave us good tips of things to see on our way and was really helpful and easy to join. Thank you so much for the indications for Powerplant, it was amazing! We had everything we needed. It was a good first night for our long trip in BC. The ground is a little rough, maybe that could be improved?

Daniel's camping spot was great! Had nice privacy, some wood lying around for fires, and potable water. Also very close to the galloping goose trail for us to bike down to the potholes.
