JCB Cabin A
Amazing retreat
We loved staying at JCB Cabins ! It had absolutely everything we needed and more, we felt connected to nature but not too far from any activities. Jacky was an amazing host, she was friendly and made us feel comfortable with her personal touch in the cabin. We will absolutely be returning, thank you for everything Jacky !!

My wife and I spent 5 nights here in late July. On the positive side, you are about a 10 minute drive from downtown Golden. The hosts have also put good effort into making the outdoor spaces nice (hammock, fire pit, chairs). However...we couldn't use the outdoor space because the mosquitos were absolutely horrendous. Tried using spray and a Thermocell but there was no relief. The hosts are aware of the issue. I would not recommend staying here during mosquito season but other times of year it is a good spot.

Memorable Stay
I thoroughly enjoyed my time at JCB Campground. The hosts were gracious and accommodating--wonderful to talk to--and the campsite itself was quiet and very beautiful. The hosts have built an enclosed gazebo (with super plush and comfortable sofas) that offered a perfect place to relax and read. The area of Golden is full of exciting and wonderful things to see and do. In one afternoon I visited the second highest waterfall in Canada (Takakkaw Falls), hiked around a beautiful lake (Emerald Lake), saw an impressive natural feature (the Natural Bridge), and then visited the new attraction, the Golden Skybridge, where I walked on the highest pedestrian suspension bridge and then ziplined across the chasm beneath--very exciting! The town of Golden is beautiful, as are its surroundings. I look forward to someday returning to this campsite, as it truly was a gem of a location. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Beautiful Camping Getaway
This was such a beautiful spot to camp. Jacky and her husband were lovely and very helpful. There is plenty of space for tents or a trailer, campervan, tent-trailer, you name it! As well as a large space to gather around a campfire (when permitted) and a nice picnic area. They provided plenty of firewood free of charge. This was also a perfect location right near Golden, easy to pop into town or explore the multiple hiking and biking trails nearby.

New hip camper!
This select spot is a few kilometres south of Golden off hwy #95. Jackie is friendly and made our stay easy – but believe her when she states that NO bathroom facilities are available. I was hoping for a more secluded site in the woods, but we had no complaints.
The neighbourhood is close to the downhill end of biking trails and we enjoyed hiking Canyon Creek nearby.
