This was so peaceful and quiet. Even with the rain. We will definitely come back. Our dog enjoyed the trail by the ponds so much. We loved the lights around it too. It rained most of our short trip but it was still so nice, we hope to enjoy the outdoors more next time. Our hosts have some beautiful scenery there and they were so amazing! They even helped us backed in as we are new RVers. We also received a goodie bag to make smores. Definitely recommend The Ponds!

The Ponds is a magical little campground in the middle of the woods, but still close to everything. The directions were very clear and the campsite was easy to find. The road up to the Ponds is a narrow, bumpy, and rough ride, but it's brief and you'll be fine if you go slowly. We handled just fine in our 22ft travel trailer in rainy weather, but it may be more difficult with bigger rigs or those with low clearance. It is absolutely worth every bump, as this place was so cute and peaceful. We were lead up the road by Ward, who greeted us and showed us to our spot. As we were setting up, Barbara came to greet us in the rain with a very thoughtful and welcoming goodie bag, with smores/fire stuff and some fish food for the ponds. Both Ward and Barbara were so sweet and welcoming, which was very refreshing after a long day of travel. The property is magical, with a few ponds that you can explore. The main pond is beautifully lit at night with a cute walking path. It was just us and another camper, so it was very quiet and peaceful. We were just passing through, so we unfortunately could only stay for an overnight, but this would be a gem for a weekend trip, or longer! We would absolutely stay here again next time we pass through Arkansas. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely property and for your hospitality.

Ward’s place was great! We were welcomed with s’mores and then left to ourselves. Our dog loved walking on the path around the ponds. If you’re in the area and need a place to stay with RV hookups, check this spot out!

Ward and Barbara’s place is great! It’s nice and private with lots to explore. The gravel road to the sites is a bit daunting, but well worth it! Ward and Barbara gave us the cutest little gift bag with supplies for s’mores and some fish food for the ponds. It was lovely!

Barbara’s Hipcamp was so so cute! Lots of little yard games, nice and private. And she was so sweet and welcoming! It was a little iffy at times driving down the gravel road to the campsite with my sedan, but we made it! And it was worth the drive! Loved it there and it was only 30 mins from Hot Springs National Park

What a lovely spot! This was one of the nicest places I have been in a while for certain. Awesome wooded and shaded area. Some nice "ponds" to go and sit by. Fire pits. Picnic tables. Truly better appointed than some RV parks I have visited. Owners were wonderful and accommodating. This was the real thing for certain and I would happily return.

My wife and I loved this place. We were looking for a quick trip while waiting to meet family in Little Rock and picked this place as our first hipcamp spot. The place is quiet and peaceful. I didn't read the ad correctly and was shocked when I seen there was sewer hookup, along with electricity and water! I can't believe we had it to ourselves, the place should have been packed. The hosts, Barbara and Ward, and super nice and friendly! They have worked hard on this place and it shows. We enjoyed steaks and pork chops by the small pond, fed the fish and sit at the picnic table and just relaxed. At one point ali told me wife, I think I just spent a few minutes without a single thought going through my mind. We were only there 24 hours but it was great! We pulled a small camper behind a jeep. The road in wasn't that bad. We were also welcomed with an awesome goodie bag that actually had lots of goodies in it! I feel like it would have cost as much as what we paid for the spot. Thank you to the hosts, again, for going above and beyond to accommodate our needs while gone to Little Rock.

We took our solis pocket 36b one last trip before selling it. We had a wonderful scary tornado warning. The host even warned me of the chance. We were greeted with such a wonderful couple. We definitely will head back when we get the chance to go. Thank you!

The Ponds is serene and was a pleasure. The RV hookups gave me easy access to fresh water even though I didn’t need the other bits. There was plenty of green space around the gravel parking to lay down my bivy roll. I was pleasantly surprised at the lack of mosquitoes - I guess all the ponds have a healthy number of fish, like the big koi I fed, keeping the population down. The kind host left a nice goodie bag and plenty of firewood to cook a meal.
The area is also well lit at night, with lots of small solar lights and lanterns around the water. Meal prep in the dark still needed a flashlight, but it was nice ambiance and enough to navigate on foot.
It was kind of hard to leave in the morning! I just wanted to sit out by the pond longer.

We needed somewhere to tent camp with our dog to break up our road trip and this was the perfect option for us. It’s probably best suited for those with campers when all 4 spots are taken, but we had the place to ourselves and it was great. We didn’t get a chance to meet Barbara, but Ward was so kind, easy-going and helpful and we were so touched by the thoughtful little care package they prepared to greet us with. Lovely hosts with lovely land to share with travelers!

very nice place. small. scenic ponds. it's on a loose gravel road called Easy Street which has no road sign but Google maps got me straight there. Holly gravel road. very secluded. Host was very welcoming

We enjoyed our stay at the Ponds. We stayed at Site D. There are 3 other sites; 2 were in use while we were there. We felt we had sufficient privacy. Barbara was a kind and generous host. We had a great time viewing the total eclipse.. We stayed 2 nights and would stay again if we needed a spot with hookups. Hot Springs NP is about 40 minutes away.

We spent two nights at Barb and Ward's; the property is beautiful, and the sites/amenities were well thought out. We arrived later than we intended, but Barb and Ward greeted us with an eclipse goody bag (which was seriously impressive) upon arrival and helped us get situated. Although we spent almost all of our time hiking at Hot Springs and Lake Catherine, it was a real treat to come back to camp at night. The strategic yet unassuming lighting coupled with the crickets and frogs makes it feel like you're in some magical fairy glen.
Having never been to Arkansas before, we checked out several other camps for fun, and we will definitely be going back to The Ponds over any other place. If you want to be able to relax in peace after a day of hiking, I highly recommend The Ponds.

This is a beautiful spot. The hosts greeted us with a care package that included makings for s’mores and info about the local area. Super nice! If you want a peaceful spot to come back to this is it. We have a 20 ft airstream that we pull with an Audi Q7. The road leading to the property is gravel and had some steep sections and pretty big pot holes. We made it but had to go very slow. We stayed in spot A which we liked but it took all of our leveling gear to get the trailer level. Once set up though it was great! The view over the ponds is so pretty and we saw deer every day. The hosts are very responsive and very welcoming. It is clear that they want you to enjoy your time here. Once you get past the entry road and set up you will love it!
