Wonderful spot with beautiful views and thoughtful amenities. You can tell they have put a lot of love into Griffin Ridge. Our family had a wonderful Thanksgiving trip and felt right at home. Would be great for a large group. Stephanie was a great host and we will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful experience at Griffin Ridge and are already looking forward to our next trip. Stephanie was very helpful and always available if we needed her (which we really didn’t because everything was set up perfectly for us). The site had all we needed to have a beautiful camping trip with family. I recommend hiking Kings River Falls while there (directly down the road from here).

This was a nice, quiet, and private campsite - just what we were looking for. We did get caught in some rain, but the large tent platform kept our tent nice and dry. The propane grill was great for cooking. Outhouse was better than expected. Plenty of space for more tents if needed.

The site was amazing! It was a perfect launch point for our drives to all of our hiking destinations. Really appreciated the amenities so that we didn't have to haul as many supplies!

Perfect campsite even during rain!
Stephanie’s Hipcamp spot was perfect for a little weekend get-away. The outhouse was super cleaned and not even smelly like other outhouses. The grille was clutch! And the little outdoor dining area was nicely shaded. What I appreciated the most was the outdoor platform for our tent. We were caught in some bad thunderstorms and we stayed completely dry since our tent was not directly on the land. This was incredibke to us! On top of, Stephanie loaded us with a huge pile of wood for bonfires at night. Plus, she gave us a map of all the near by hikes and hidden gems! I highly recommend her place!

Beautiful, secluded.
We loved this little spot! So far away from hustle and bustle, just what we needed. Our 94 Chrysler was a bit questionable on the county roads, but ended up being fine in the end. Also, we just happened to forget our tent, and ended up leaving the same day instead of staying the night. Stephanie was very helpful and kind, and offered us to come back another time because of our misfortune. We will definitely be taking her up on the offer.

Nice spot just as described. The level platform fit our large 6person tent. Nice gazebo, grill, compost toilet / outhouse. Pretty isolated, no campsite neighbors, so great place to get away.

Best Host who cares about the area
This place is a gem in the middle of some of the best attractions of the Ozark's.
Stephanie’s place is set up great and coukd house multiple tents. When we booked for our pop up camper she helped us relocate down the road where we could park our camper easier at The Buffalo Wikderness Rider. She went out of her way to ensure we had a great spot and knew if all the close by hikes to explore. This was one of the best finds we have had camping! I highly recommend

We brought our campervan here and had an incredible experience. Stephanie and her husband are two of the nicest people I’ve ever met and were so helpful. They even brought us dinner one night. The property is beautiful and peaceful. The stars are amazing at night! I highly recommend staying here.

Stephanie’s camp site is absolutely awesome. Off the beaten path with no one around to bother you. The site offers an elevated tent pad to avoid the cold or wet ground, charcoal or gas grill, patio table and chairs with a sun shade, and water is available for cleaning dishes or pans. Stephanie is a great host and is able to supply fire wood if requested. In addition, you have easy access to several hiking trails and it’s a short distance from Ponca to view the Elk. Also, short drive to the famous Oark Cafe for the best coconut pie! I definitely recommend Griffin’s Ridge for your next adventure!

Site was easy to find and had everything as described. We really liked the location and all the amenities. ATV or 4x4 not needed to get to the camp site, any auto will do. We were very impressed with it and plan on visiting another time when its a bit warmer.

Stephanie was such a lovely host at Griffin Ridge Campground! Great recommendations and lovely hospitality 😊 A beautiful location and well thought out Hillside Campground, with 3 level tent spaces, kitchen gazebo and dining gazebo! We camped in our van, a little tricky to level... Thanks for the great stay😊

Hillside glamping!
Adorable spot tucked onto the hillside with surprising amenities. Perfect for tent camping with a nice level platform. That along with the covered patio table, and the outhouse & composting toilet make this spot is more like glamping! Stephanie is the best host ever, and takes care of you like family!

Exactly what we were looking for! Secluded, yet 15 min drive from the river. We brought our pups and they had a great time running around on the property. Amenities include: new outhouse, access to potable water, cabana covered seating area, wood tent platform, grills, and more!

Peaceful, relaxing, & beautiful!
I work in traumatic brain injury rehabilitation. With the current situation dealing with COVID, i’m overworked and understaffed. I took time off work and spent 10 days at Griffin Ridge Campsite. It’s peaceful, secluded, and very well put together. I particularly loved the elevated tent pad when it rained buckets! I camped alone and felt safe. I highly recommend Griffin Ridge!

Such a nice place to stay! I took my daughter on her first camping trip last weekend and it was amazing! Although we went “camping camping” the platform for the tent was a nice addition.
Stephanie was a doll. True hospitality and she has wonderful recommendations on the surrounding area.

Perfect tent camping spot
Perfect spot to tent camp! We loved the wooden platform to put our tent on. We loved the table and chairs to sit and enjoy our meals!! We loved gazing at the stars!!! The outhouse was a nice extra!! The only goof- we misunderstood about there being one night firewood provided- there wasn’t any fire wood- we found some sticks and made it work for s’mores. Can’t wait to return in the fall!!!

Stephanie was beyond a wonderful host. She not only assisted us with recommendations on trails, restaurants and extracurricular activities... she also brought us snacks one day when we did not make it into town for food. She went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The campsite is more than luxurious. It offers a platform for your tent so that you are not camping on hard rocks. It also offers a pavilion a grill and a beautifully new constructed outhouse. She also has a potable water for showering, laundry and dishes. Very convenient. The campsite is wonderful decorated with a huge fire pit. There was more than enough to do very close to this campsite. Multiple bodies of water hiking and fun backroads to ride. THE BEST!!

OUTSTANDING!!!!
Stephanie's place is beyond fabulous. She has taken so much time to arrange rocks, hammocks, wooden stools, stones, pavilions and platforms. It's everything a tent camper could dream of. She has taken so much care of the space and turned it in to heaven. There is a platform large enough for 2 tents and plenty of trees to string up hammock's. Stephanie has a brand new outhouse which makes it even more convenient when nature calls. She also has potable water on site to rinse and shower with. She really has thought of everything. Not only is she responsive but she's extremely friendly. Stephanie spent hours giving us suggestions of watering holes and hikes that we would enjoy. She even brought down snacks one day when we didn't make it into town for dinner. She also has local restaurant suggestions and back road shortcuts that she can fill you in on. Her campsite is one of the very few places we were able to receive service within miles. I have verizon and I had almost full bars. Also, very affordable. 20/10!! We will be returning with more of our family. Griffins Ridge will become our regular spot here in AR. Thank you to the Griffins for such a wonderful weekend.
