Gateway was a historic town known for its railway access. It was the last stop before Eureka Springs during the 1940's and was once a hub of activity. Now it is a rural farming community near many tourist attractions including state parks, lakes, rivers, trails/hiking, historic battlefields, and artsy shopping.
Secret Gates is a little music and arts venue that hosts events like festivals and small private gatherings. A quiet getaway to get some rest in between your daytime activities at nearby attractions.

Secret Gates Rural Village
I’d recommend it
This place was pretty nice. I stopped here on a long road trip to camp and the hosts were kind enough to provide firewood and be sure I didn’t need anything before they headed out. Also, there was a very nice dog that hung out for a while! Only heads up I would give: 1) You’re near a gravel road so there are occasionally cars, but honestly better than how campgrounds often are. 2) There may be a train, only one ran while I was there and it was early evening. I’d recommend it and stay again if ever in the area.
