Beautiful campground, we had it all to ourselves! This was my second time staying here in 5 years, it is such a prime location to be near all of the hiking trails in the area!

This place was awesome! Nestled in the woods with the sound of flowing water while you campout. Perfect place to take your overlander and feeling like you’re hitting the trail. Close to the trailhead to Kings River Falls for perfect hike and swim! Definitely staying here again.

It was a beautiful drive and beautiful water. We chose to go camping for my daughter’s 13th birthday so I wanted to go all out. I picked this glamping bell tent because we’ve never done that and how cool is that! The glamping sites feature a large glamping tent that is completely decked out with a queen sized airbed, rug, battery operated fan, lights, games, etc.. awesome told my husband and kids and we were excited couldn’t wait. When we arrived we seen the first site had the glamping bell tent and people were there so ok that’s not ours we go down and see our spot to be just a regular tent they supplied 2 bundles of wood, cooking rack, cast iron pan x2, soap, sponge, some cooking utensils, eating utensils, plates, paper towels, toilet paper, water jugs, trash can with bags, painting rocks and the beds were made. We were disappointed that we didn’t get the big glamping bell tent that we reserved no really games which thank goodness we brought some cards and no fan(my husband and I sleep hot). So after breakfast the next morning we cleaned up and left.

This was such a beautiful place to camp! We loved how quiet and serene it was. It was a little tight driving to the sight but we were in a truck and had no issues getting over the creek. There is no service so make sure you have a map if you are going to go other places. Definitely go on the hike to the waterfall! It’s a must! Would definitely camp here again!

Absolutely beautiful magical place. Spent 5 nights and would love to spend more time. Saw a few bats, several kinds of colorful butterflies and bees. Owls almost every night. I guess it was the humidity of the creek at night that made it I could see my breath one night. It wasn’t cold at all, had to have been the humidity So very cool Had the entire place to myself for 3 out of 5 nights Going through the creek wasn’t an issue as much as bottoming out ascending into and coming up the steep banks. That being said I managed it better in my BMW 300 series than the 4 wheel drive suvs and trucks. They sounded like wrecks hitting the rocks. My car is low but I got out and took note of the places with high centers and went very slow. Scary but I made it and it was totally worth it Swimming holes were amazing

Site 2 - Kings River Falls Camping

A bit of difficulty getting to due to raining but once you are there it is breathtaking. Plenty of area to hike and enjoy with family. Host checked on us and kept us updated on weather which made it feel secure. Will visit again but in a bit larger vehicle to handle slick roads if necessary.

We loved camping at Kings Falls Campground! Absolutely beautiful site with amazing hiking nearby and pretty private and secluded from the main path! I will say we got in on Friday night and got slightly turned around, main road (1807) sign was hard to see with grass overgrown and fading of sign. Didn’t know I was at the campsite ( as sign at the camp says Dripping Springs but HipCamp says Kings Falls campground) in for a bit until I luckily found other campers. Tent sites are also confusing as there are no signs to indicate which site is which and there was some confusion between other campers as to which site was who’s. Definitely make sure you have an AWD/4WD SUV or Truck and make sure you have a decent amount of ground clearance for the creek crossing. Loved the campsite and now that we know how to get there we would love to come back many times!!! Enjoyed our weekend and thank y’all!

Campsite #4 with dogs :)

Such a beautiful place to camp and hike. The directions to the site were very clear and we found it with no problems. Even with the creek being lower, we still loved swimming below the waterfall. Our dogs were living their best lives!! Over our four days, there was only one other group of campers and we didn’t hear them much. So peaceful and secluded. We stayed in campsite #4 and really appreciated the amount of tree cover to keep us cool. Would recommend lots of bug spray and citronella candles, because there are a lot of bugs in the summer! Overall, loved our time at the campsite and are planning on returning in the future!

Kings River Falls Glamping A

Sam and Michelle’s site was just gorgeous, it’s right beside the creek and a bigger swimming hole that our kids just loved! The creek crossing was not high for us at all but the ground is very uneven and I do think a 4wd is necessary for the road. We parked on the other side of the creek and carried our things to the site and it wasn’t too bad at all. It was such a dreamy site all in all for our kids and us on our first camping trip. We read on another review that the outhouse at our site was out of order so we came prepared with a bathroom setup of our own. We also brought our own firewood in. It is pretty far from the nearest town so I recommend double checking that you’re bringing everything in. We had such a great time and were so sad to leave a day early due to weather since it’s such a magical spot.

A very special place. The swimming holes were so amazing. Definitely need 4 wheel drive to park by your site which we had. Only downfall was a very large group showed up our last day and night and it was close and loud. No fault of the owners, maybe just check to see if any large groups coming in before you book.

This Hipcamp site was a true gem for a private and comfortable escape! Tucked away under a canopy of trees, it offered abundant shade and truly felt like being deep in the woods, far removed from any city noise. The swimming spots were fantastic, making for refreshing dips throughout the day. Everything about the site itself was perfect, and I would absolutely visit again. The only significant downside was not about the site but an inconsiderate group at the next site while we’re staying. They played loud music on a speaker and talked loudly late into the night. What was particularly concerning was their smoking while cooking in the woods, a truly unpleasant and potentially hazardous behavior that showed a lack of respect for the environment and other campers. I hope people are mindful that this is a shared space and remember to be respectful of their neighbor campers.

The views here are spectacular, without a doubt. We were at Site #1, closest to the Public Swimming Hole. Ask for a different site if you're looking for listening to less people... It's a busy place. The outhouse at the site was not operational; a tent was jammed into it and a new seat laid on top. We chose not to walk past another campsite to use those porta potties. Be prepared for humidity in the heat of the summer. Put up your fire starters, matches, etc so they don't get wet. The rug inside of the tent smelled like dogs. Personally would replace for the price per night, but it was bug free and we were glad for that. Lock up your food at night, as there are nighttime guests. We named our young raccoon friend Reginald and shared fruit with him. Overall a great stay.

If your looking for a off beat secluded camping area with sounds of birds, and nature this is a good spot. Stayed a week. Me an my 2 kids loved the trails and the several springs of water. It's very quiet.

Site 2 - Kings River Falls Camping

This campsite was amazing! The host gave us perfect and easy-to-follow directions for getting there - especially since it is accurate that service is lost close to the site. The location is stunning, the campsite was well-maintained and convenient to so much exploring! The Falls itself was such a short distance and was absolutely breathtaking. We had such a nice time staying here! Arkansas was an unexpected gem on our trip :)

Beautiful park we had a great time! We enjoyed the swimming hole access right from our site. The sight is off the beaten path but worth the drive in! I plan to make a trip back in the future.

The privacy. To be in an area that is so remote and peaceful was wonderful. There were very few people at the public swimming hole and only 2 other campsites occupied. Our 'neighbor' campsite played guitar and sang for us. We hiked some trails and it was like we were in a world of our own. Great experience.

This site was so peaceful, nice cool breezes. Creeks and swimming holes surrounding the site. I had a wonderful time hiking down the creeks to each spot for a float. Watching the minnows, tadpoles and crawfish. The cave behind the main swimming hole is much larger and higher up than I thought. A must see. I took so many pictures, everything was so gorgeous. The drive over the creek was something. It was less about the creek and more about the hill on either side of it. Use caution and bring a wagon to carry your things. You'll also be driving a dirt road through the trees for quite a while to get there. The marker across from the schoolhouse does not stand out, follow the owner's directions carefully.

Beautiful campsite! Loved the creek and swimming areas nearby! It's definitely a trek to get out there but so worth it. I didn't have any cell or internet service, which is to be expected sometimes when camping. And I might not have the best service, but just a heads up 🙂 I would love to book this place again! Campsites looked well maintained and it was easy to find, just make sure you follow the hosts written instructions included on your reservation (and maybe take snips of them before you leave in case you can't connect to the app when you get there)

I’ve camped here several times and it’s my favorite spot in Arkansas! Absolutely beautiful, plenty of privacy from anyone staying at the other sites, great hiking! Primitive spot for a great camping trip.
