Beautiful area, the natural features are great Arron was a great host. We came at a bad time of year that is on us, so we didn't get explore his property much. His trail looked well kept and have a very novel way navigating, but I cant wait to come back in the fall. There was so much to do around Greer's ferry lake, there's a wonderful beach about 40 minutes away, but our favorite part was getting lost on the way home and wound up taking a 9 mile off road adventure, on one of the many off-road trails in the area, we end up atop an Ozark mountain and had a beautiful view of sunset the day we left. This place is prime if you have an ATV/UTV, you could spend a day a a few tanks of gas exploring the area.

We truly enjoyed our time here. The land is beautiful with great views of the creek. It was quiet and very relaxing. Aron himself is a great host and very friendly.

Aron’s land is ABSOLUTELY STUNNING, and he is a very welcoming host. Due to little rain, there was not water for our trip, but he let us know some other things we could do with our kiddos. We were able to visit the swimming area at the nearby lake. We all enjoyed exploring the trails he has put in and the waterfalls.

I loved my experience here. Aron is an awesome and accommodating host who made our experience one to remember. Beautiful land, can't wait to come back when we get some rain and the waterfalls are flowing! Loved the bud lights along the trails, super unique and helpful. All around wonderful, would recommend to anyone that loves nature and getting away from the matrix.

To be 100% honest i was hesitant going to hillbilly hippie hideaway because of a comment saying the host was creepy. i’m here to tell you that was not at all my experience. Aron was such a sweet guy and great host! he made me and my boy friend feel nothing but comfortable.
I wore nothing but a bathing suit almost the whole time i was there and not once did i feel uncomfortable being around Aron! he was helpful, fun to talk to, and a sweet guy just trying to enjoy nature and share it with everyone else!
i will 100% be coming back and am super excited to. although the creeks were dry this time around it was still beautiful and Aron made us feel at home. (he also has a very cute dog that is super friendly!) 10/10 experience.

Awesome site! Aron is a cool guy and he’s got the friendliest dog too! Lots of nature to see, it’s peaceful, and lots of waterfalls as well. Be better than me and remember to bring your bug spray! Trees provide lots of shade and shelter from the rain. It’s really a magical place. Nothing but good vibes.

Tent camping on Aron's land was great, lots of well designed and cleared campsites, plenty of hiking, a few swimming holes, good parking, and just really beautiful land; sprawling, isolated and dense forests. Not to mention that Aron was a great host and very accommodating to his guests. I did not bring a pet but other people had their dogs out their and they seemed to love it as much if not more than their people.

We absolutely loved everything about Aron's property! Water features galore. The swimming hole and natural waterslide were two of our favorite spots, not to mention our camp site right next to one of the waterfalls! We were able to canoe down the river one day and caught my first walleye! Aron was a great host. This place changed our lives and we will definitely be back!! Highly recommend

First off I want to say thank u Aron for open ur Lil spot up.to Me it was my 36 bday and was amazing Aron did more then anyone would have to make sure we were well taken care of very polite and well manner he put us in great spot with cave was truly epic if ur looking for off grid camping this is ur spot very clean and beautiful he went as far as to bring my mother-in-law pot coffe one morning cause she was out if I was to rate this spot it would deff get all 10s and can not wait to go back with that being said if u book with him remember u have give up lil luxury for beauty great job Aron great place

The Hideaway was straight MAGIC. Both Aron and his pup were beyond accommodating and helped us with everything from finding bait, to getting the kayaks in, and entertaining the kids with food and bringing us the best smelling cedar firewood on the planet.
Quirky and fun- the paths are all lined with bud light beer cans as markers. Those actually really helped us!!
The campsite was overlooking the waterfall that was lit up with lights at night. BEYOND scenic no matter where you traveled to on the grounds. The kids (11 and 8) were so busy exploring, playing in the waterfalls and sliding down the natural water slide they didn’t ask for their phones once- which tells you something.
We drove 8 hours just to visit and will absolutely be doing it again.

It was so bad we didn't stay. There was no privacy. Beer cans everywhere. The host was drunk and creepy. No water. It was disgusting to say the least.

We loved everything about our stay. You couldn’t ask for a better host. Aron is a great guy and he (and his dog) do everything they can to make sure your trip is perfect. The site is beautiful and the water is cool. You really can’t ask for more. 10/10 will go again. :)

Gorgeous land! We fell asleep to the sounds of the nearby stream and appreciated sitting around the fire pit under the stars. Much to explore and yet so close to the lake and River. Aron was an excellent host and worked hard to make sure the facilities were kept clean, even on a busy holiday weekend.

We had such an enjoyable stay. Beautiful views all around. My kids really took a liking to the natural water slide into the swimming hole and trekking along the creek. It was peaceful and beautiful. Aron is really friendly and helpful. Really looking forward to coming back.

Aaron was sooo communicative from even before I booked up until the moment we left. He has created an off the grid paradise with all the conveniences close enough yet not too close. He is so accommodating, friendly and informative. We only stayed the night as we are on a time frame yet would have loved to stay longer. Stunning hiking ! Waterfalls abound-Pure majestic bliss!

The campsite he put us at was very scenic and had access to many of the hiking trails that Aron has personally cleared. The streams were full of wildlife that you don’t see unless the water quality is pristine. It was a great experience and I will be back to see what all Aron has in store for the property

This is a truly wonderful camp site. Aron was incredibly accommodating, finding a site for overland camping and making a stone fire pit immediately after we arrived. The entire property is pretty magical. A natural water slide into a shallow swim hole was perfect for my kids (11, 7, 6 yo). The trails are well marked (Bud lights the way) and feature an Indian cave and a great waterfall that fills a deeper (20 ft) swim hole. Plenty of space to hike and explore off trail. The campsites were very private and well maintained, many of them with creek side views. Very close to town, but feels off the beaten path. Aarons puppy is also so friendly and fun. My kids and I will definitely come back often.

Campsite was super peaceful, spread out campsites, running water and pristine wilderness yet not far from the beautiful red river that Aron totally helped us canoe! Wouldn’t have happened without him, thank you man!

We brought a tent out here and camped for one night but we WILL be back. The land you’ll stay on is absolutely GORGEOUS so much so you’ll possibly even call it magical. There’s an amazing swimming hole with a beautiful natural water slide leading right into it! And our host, Aaron was so kind and respectful! When we got there he showed us around and even set up a solar light in front of the waterfall we were staying near so we could see it at night! Oh and the free firewood is such a plus!

Aron's place is BEAUTIFUL! We were able to set up with a view of the waterfall which was breathtaking. Aron was a great host and very accommodating. The weather didn't allow us to explore, but our stay was enjoyable! We will be back again!
