We have 40 acres of woods, tiny waterfalls, hiking, stargazing, bird watching, and sunset watching for the campers who like primitive camping. Enjoy the best of both worlds with a quiet, natural area to camp in, and destinations to see close by. Private area with sun, and plenty of shade. Blackberry's are available to pick in late June or early July. There are three logging trails that you can bush wack your way through just behind the campground. There are cliffs, and plenty of scenery to enjoy. We are a short drive away from Eureka Springs, Turpentine Creek(big cat sanctuary), War Eagle Cavern, and War Eagle Mill. Hobbs State National Park is close by off Scenic Highway 12, with biking, and walking trails galore! We are also close to many of the NW Arkansas mountain biking trails in the area! Access to Beaver Lake is a short drive or a long hike down the scenic rock roads. Due to the remote, and private location, we want to remind everyone that consuming alcohol under the age of 21 will not be tolerated. Safety is very important to us. Private area with sun, shade, and stargazing. Two grassy areas for pitching your tent, and great trees to hang your hammocks. You'll be able to enjoy the sunset through the trees from this site. Bird watchers would enjoy this site, with a tree just across the road where the birds frequent. Room for 4-6 campers and 2 vehicles.

This is a larger campsite area. Room for up to 10 campers. Lots of shade, and area to play games, or relax and do some bird watching. Great hammock trees! Mostly gravel area mixed with woods, and grassy areas. Great views, privacy, and plenty of room for family and friends.

The Hippy Travel Trailer is a vintage trailer, rehabbed into a groovy shelter for PRIMATIVE camping. The trailer sleeps 3 adults(or 2 adults and 1 child). You'll have portable water, a compost toilet, comfy matts to sleep on, TV trays to dine on, and plenty of space for whatever you bring. The views are beautiful, and the site is private. A campfire ring is provided, and 2 chairs with a small table outside for your viewing pleasure. There are fabulous trees to hang hammocks on, and wildlife abound. This is a primitive campsite so bring your solar amenities, and camping gear. If you decide to have an additional 2 guests, there is plenty of room to pitch a tent at the site. When you enter the campground take a left on the second road. Down the road a bit, you will see a blue basket with pink ribbons on it, indicating the entrance to your site.

Such a great spot! We had a group in Site 2 and there was plenty of room for multiple tents. We went in the fall so the creek was dry but I can’t wait to come back and explore more in the Spring Jill was a great host - met us when we got there to make sure we had what we needed! I hope to be back someday ski !

We got there shortly after sunset, but we were able to find the site, no problem! Usually you expect to orangutan hang off a tree and aim for a hole when camping, but they provide a luxury private bucket toilet experience, 10/10. Our only regret was not seeing the note about exploring the old logging trails before we left for a different hike. Check under the water jug! A bunch of cute mushrooms around the site too. Also a great site for bird watching!

Would give 10 stars if I could. Not only is the location perfect, scenery beautiful, and very secluded, but the hosts are great. We had a flat tire and didn't realize it until the next morning. Jerry came out, aired up the tire so we could move to flat ground, and helped get the spare on. Will 1000% be coming back (for a third time haha)

We didn’t have anyone staying at the adjacent site during our stay so it was very quiet & owner gave us privacy. The hiking trails are overgrown so I didn’t get an opportunity to explore the creek but still had a great time.

I ended up arriving really late so basically just stayed the night there before heading to next destination but I was so tired so I appreciated being able to arrive so late and loved the privacy so wasn’t bothering others either. They recommend 4WD and I would also recommend 4WD as well. I drive a Honda HR-V so it’s not too low to the ground but is FWD. I ended up backing down the hill when I got in and getting more speed to get up the hill but other than that did fine and was definitely worth it once getting up there! When I woke up in the morning, I got to see the beautiful site and surroundings and man did I want to stay longer! It was very clean and shaded and they provided a 5 gal water jug on the picnic table, stone fire ring and toilet tent🙌🏼 I booked short notice and inquired about firewood and they provided me with some🙌🏼 I definitely plan to stay again.

It's a great spot for hammocking! Perfect little cluster of trees by the fire pit and a great area to stargaze. Me and my boyfriend saw multiple shooting stars and had a great time.

Very peaceful. Loved the drive out to the property, as mentioned the driveway is steep and you’ll likely want 4WD for the last bit. My dog and I enjoyed exploring the trails, though it was pretty overgrown at the bottom so we didn’t get all the way to the river. I appreciated the firepit and the big jug of water. Overall a really nice stay!

Had a great stay! The site was peaceful, private, and surrounded by beautiful woods. The host was super easy to work with. I also drove out to Hogscald Hollow (20 minute drive on dirt roads) for some paddle boarding, which was perfect. Can’t wait to come back!

This place is truly great. I've been to quite a few different HipCamp sites and this one is definitely my favorite. Very secluded, clean and spacious campground. Not far from a pretty private area of Beaver Lake, as well. 10/10 will come back

It was gorgeous and very beautiful area. Luckily we were the only ones out there when we went to camp. The lake isn’t far from the campsite just a short 10 min drive. The host is very nice, they’re sweet people. They don’t bother you or anything much very helpful when it came to directions around the area and to the lake.

The Hippy Travel Trailer
Tucked back in the woods, Jerry and Jill’s property is absolutely beautiful. Their clear directions made it easy to find, and the setting feels like a peaceful escape. If you’re looking to immerse yourself in nature, this is the spot. Bonus: it’s just about 45 minutes from Eureka Springs!

If you are looking for a remote wonderland this is your place! We had so much fun exploring the mountains and creek. We even came across a small cavern. Jerry was a great host and made sure we were taken care of the duration of the trip. With that being said, he also respected our privacy. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are in the area.

The camper for sure kept us safe from the rain! The chairs out front were very cute. The big issue was the camper was filled with copious amounts of dead bugs and cockroach poop that has obviously been there for a while.

It's secluded with lot of lush woodsy scenery. Amazing stargazer opportunities amid campfire gatherings. Lots of space. My family of 5 loved it! Jerry and Jill were great hosts and communicated exceptionally.

Booked this last minute due to some crazy storms and wanted a bit of refuge and it was perfect! The camper was air tight through the craziest rainstorm and we could even have the windows open. The property was clean and well stocked and our pups loved exploring the trails and area.

This is a great place to camp, and Jerry could not be nicer! I was expecting a little more primitive and was very happy to see a picnic table, composting toilet and a five gallon jug of water waiting for me. The campsite is sprinkled with pine trees that provide nice shade when it’s hot and the words that comes to mind to describe the campsite would be peaceful and remote. Bring the food you need for the stay or expect a 40 minute trip (each way) to a grocery store. They tell you that 4WD is recommended and I agree with that…it’s a relatively steep drive to get to the camp once you reach the property, but totally doable easily with 4WD. I didn’t get to meet Jill, but Jerry was great and went way above and beyond to help me and make sure I was comfortable. He is very kind man. I recommend camping here!

I absolutely loved Jerry and Jills!!!! I wasn't expecting it to be so tranquil! It was such a beautiful spot with amazing walking trails and complete privacy. It was definitely a home away from home and something me and my love needed! Thank you for the awesome directions and not having to pop a squat in the woods :) I highly recommend!

This was the perfect campsite!!! It was very quiet and private and the perfect location. The picnic table and included water jug was an amazing addition and made our stay even more enjoyable. We had the best time camping here.

The solitude and peace were exactly what we needed. It was very quiet and tranquil, the hosts were very kind and accommodating as well. I loved the trees and listening to the birds in the morning, and had a perfect view of the stars. Would highly recommend and can't wait to visit again!

I loved camping here!! Jerry was so kind, and brought us a hammock when we realized someone from our group forgot theirs. It was very peaceful, and will definitely be back in the summer to swim in the recommended swim spots! Also, great hammock spots around the fire!
