Diamond Glamping

Google does not take you to the place. No one answers text messages to the number that is provided. Luckily there was a local who knew where I was trying to get too. Then once there no instructions on where to go or where to stay. I messaged the owner in the app and he did answer a few questions. Every guest I talked to at the place had a very similar experience that I had. There was a host who was staying at a house on site but I nor other guests seemed to be able to have any interactions with. It is a cool location but the lack of communication and management I would stay away. There was more problems that other guests were having with cabins but it wasn’t first hand experience for me so I hope they post a review also. I stayed in a tent by the river.

Happy camper

There was some confusion concerning check in, but we got it straightened out. Great location if visiting Crater of Diamond State Park. We had one of the tents, which was very roomy and stayed cool despite the high temperatures.

The Glamping tent was setup very nice and the ac kept the unit comfortable. Very remote location so take plenty of bug spray. Great place to unplug and sit by the river and fish. Bathrooms were clean and the shower was great. We will definitely come back some day.

Specialty Cabin On A River Front

This was a great site!! It was peaceful, relaxing and I loved the added benefit of a clean bathroom and shower. We enjoyed it so much, we even extended the day another day. I would highly recommend this experience.

Booked this to go camping with my daughter and the visit the Crater of Diamonds State Park. Site was clean, semi secluded and we were able to pick our own tent site. We were originally camped on the bank of the Little Missouri River that flows through the property and it was gorgeous. Then received a message from property owner that the River has been known to flood without warning (I was a little upset that this wasn't made known prior to us setting up the tent as the manager drove up to us while we were setting up and didnt say anything. I received a message after we finished and found the wifi password as there isnt much in the way of cell service without it.) It was a minor upset and was fixed the next morning and we just moved the tent. Staff was friendly and helpful. Other guest renting out the cabins were peaceful and respectful. Bath house was kept clean and showers worked! The "camp dog" made friends with mine but he kept peeing on our stuff! Overall, had a good time and plan on coming back.

We planned our trip several weeks ahead and as the day got closer, we found out it was going to be super rainy and ice cold. When I connected with the proprietor David, he was fantastic and offered other options that helped our trip work out much better. Thank you!

Using Hipcamp instead of Glamping means you need to watch emails from both in order to get location. Hipcamp had wrong GPS coordinates. So Glamping sends an email to get you the right address. Site was very nice with level ground for camping although it will be muddy if there is rain. Bathrooms are nice. Cats were everywhere so you must like them. They liked getting into our tent. Cat left paw marks all over van. Rooster crowed at all hours of night.

Our stay was beyond great! We had great communication with the site manager on an accomodation we needed and it was all good. The whole place is nice with a laid back atmosphere! Sunrise on the river is absolutely beautiful! We interacted with Brian Fox who works maintenance quite a bit and he was beyond helpful and being a rock and gem nerd like a couple of us, we had lots in common. This was the maiden voyage with our new hot tent and we couldn't have chosen a better place! We will return!

This place was great! Our spot was in the shade and right next to the water, the host was fantastic, and the bathrooms were nice! There was lots for the kids to do! We were only a short drive to town and an even shorter drive to Crater of Diamonds State Park! We would definitely stay here again!!!

We had a great experience camping here! It was really nice to have a bathroom and shower available. It was SO close to Crater of Diamonds State Park, which was our primary goal for our trip, which made it very convenient!

Specialty Cabin On A River Front

Staying in the bell tent was comfortable. The whole place was peaceful and the ac kept the tent comfortable from the time we moved in (5:30 pm) until sun down, then the ac got the tent nice and cool. Beds were comfy, lightening bugs were out and several little kitties came to visit. It was fairly clean. The place is located on a small river so there are bugs. Some ants came in around the ac intake tube and my husband accidently stirred up a nest of wasps under a deck rail while looking for the source of the ants. The only negative was when the bed support rails fell off the bed frame when we laid down for the night about 11:45 pm. Luckily we had an Allen wrench and could tell how to properly assemble the bed frame. We fixed it and went back to bed. Reported the issue to the campgroud manager via text with pics so they could check it out before the next guests.

Clear Quartz Safari Tent

1) Emailed instructs from Hipcamp said location didn't have addrs & host would send GPS coords. An addrs was given, no GPS coords. needed 2) Hipcamp & host instructs confusing; hipcamp said "Host's written directions: text J.... for check in instructions and map". Instructions emailed from Global Glamping said - Map: upon arrival, a map of the property will be provided... If you have trouble finding it don't hesitate to reach out to "J..." for assistance. So I texed "J..." upon arrival to self report for check in, just a "Hi its ### family. We reserved ....for 2 nights..." and received this response: Hi there its self check in You would have been emailed the check in instructions...please check your email spam. I received instructs via email with the confirmation 7 days b4 trip; basically they don't want you to report your arrival; just text if you have issues or concerns about your accommodations. 3) When we arrived at the safari tent, the room ac was blowing very hot air. Outside temp was 93 deg F; it was cooler outside the tent. We could only open half the windows to help cool it down. I reported an issue with the ac and we were upgraded to a cabin with working ac. The cabin had not been cleaned from the previous guests. I chose to be mellow and cleaned the muddy shower, swept the floors and washed the dirty coffee cups. 45 min/an hr later staff arrived with clean towels, coffee cups & an apology. Beds were comfy. Cabin got nice and cool. Wifi worked great. Quiet night.

Camp site was nice. Very close to everything in the area. Secluded and peaceful. Never met anyone running site outside of text or email 😔. Slightly overpriced for what we got. Expected a little more than what I got, still not unhappy. Just expected more for the money spent. Site management needs improvement. Personal communication goes a long way for customer service. When the whole experience is digital communication, so much of the experience is lost. I was literally camping in someone's backyard that was not even running the site, to the best of my knowledge, and never met with anyone who was. All in all was just a place to sleep in peace. Guess I can't complain too much.

Great experience! We did the BYOT right on the river, fire pit was right there, firewood available, and our site was shaded. Bathhouse was kept clean and air conditioned. Very cool spot, quiet and peaceful, great river view especially in the early morning. Loved it and would definitely visit again!

Our stay was nice. The tent was decked out with everything one may need. The tent was double booked, so we were upgraded to a different tent that was larger and had a good view of the river.

We enjoyed our night at 2 carat campsite. The other guest were quiet and respectful. The night was filled with beautiful fireflies. Very enjoyable. The road to the camping area was not well marked so we had to ask where to set up.

Glamping in Arkansas

I traveled to south Arkansas to view the solar eclipse. I wanted to stay more remote in order to view the night sky (live in a city & miss seeing the stars!). Devon’s place was perfect for us! It is only a few miles from a small town where you can get anything you might need - gas, snacks, a meal, firewood…. When you get to the glamping site it feels remote & private! The roads are good. Devon was friendly, welcoming & ready to make our stay great! We stayed in a cabin. The cabin is small but had a queen size bed and a bunk bed, both were very comfortable with comfortable bedding provided. Bathroom with a shower, towels provided. I believe the shower is well water, had a bit of a sulfur smell as well water sometimes has. There was no fridge, no coffee maker, nothing of kitchen. Devon did bring us delicious and hot coffee in the morning. They are doing a lot of work here at the retreat center- remodeling cabins, adding some platforms with big canvas tents and will be putting coffee makers and mini fridges in ??? There were a few small cabins and a larger cabin, a funky cabin on stilts down by the water, several platforms with canvas tents and one with a tent/yurt, several tent sites down by the water. A newly added bathhouse with 2 bathrooms including a shower. There is a large creek in the back & appears people fish here. there is an area by the creek with chairs and a firepit. We were very comfortable here! Devon is a superb host! Highly recommend!

I would’ve liked to stay at this place but there was an incident where there was an explosion nearby. Yes, it’s the country and yes you can hear shots and such. Most likely was a case of someone messing around but the incident was way above funny and borderline unsettling. Response from the hosts were not great when arrival was later than 8pm be sure to get clear instructions if showing up later as there are no signs for Hipcamp or indicating if the property isn’t just a private residence but easy enough to find during the day. Beautiful tent spots by the river. Nice and welcoming grounds keeper but didn’t feel like staying here after the incident.
