Calico Camp is a lovely, shady spot on private property about 2 miles from Calico Rock Main Street and the White River. Rich in history and great fishing. Bring your boat and kayak. Or, you can rent one in town. There are fishing guides available, too. I moved here in 2016 from Atlanta, Georgia. I actually lived in an RV in a beautiful park for several years there. And, loved it! I thought I was going to do that here, but changed my mind when I found this sweet little house on a couple of acres. Deer visit us, and bunnies make their homes here. I have cats and dogs of my own. I work at the Calico Rock Museum and invite you to visit us. We have a wonderful Heritage Center and a gallery/gift shop with works of art created by local artisans. About 2 miles from the White River and Main Street Calico Rock. Turn from Hwy. 56 can be tricky for big rigs because of a ditch at Jones Street. Left hand turn is easier than right hand turn. You can use the parking lot across the street to help you back your rig into the campsite. We have permission from the owner to do that. There is room for your boat, too. Pets are welcome. Close to grocery, bank, gas. The White River is famous for its trout fishing. Deer hunting in the area, too. (Not on this property.) The hookups are on the left side (right side if you back in). You may need extensions for your power and sewer. I have them available, if you don’t have your own. PLEASE TAKE YOUR TRASH WITH YOU WHEN YOU LEAVE. Clean up your spot and make it welcoming for the next Hipcamper. Thank you so much.

Site 2 has 30 amp and 50 amp power hookup on the side of the house. Water spigot on the front of the house. Sewer dump on same side as the house next to the gravel site. May need power and sewer extensions. Campsite is flat, gravel. Easy access from street.

Very convenient full hookups easy to back in Mrs Patricia is very nice and answers all questions and responses back quickly…would definitely stay again

We’re new to the RV life and we didn’t come prepared enough! We didn’t realize the hookups would be on the opposite side so we had to make a trip to Walmart in Mtn Home for extensions. No big deal and now we have them if needed in the future. A hail storm blew through at 6 am after the tornado warning sirens went off at 4 am so it was an eventful night! Patricia is a great host and checked in with us often even during the storm to make sure we were ok. It was nice knowing she was there if we needed her.

Unlike going to RV Parks or public campgrounds we loved the privacy of this little area for our RV campsite. It is enclosed by trees so we felt like we were still in a small nature park. The campsite itself had everything we needed for first-time RV campers! Patricia was a lovely and kind host! She helped provide information about the eclipse event in Calico Rock town. We didn't need to go into the parks where there was heavy traffic as her area was the perfect spot for the eclipse viewing. It was such a phenomenal experience!

Wonderful little spot! A campfire, grassy area and picnic table at the start of a neighborhood great for walks. Patricia is also an amazing resource of everything local!! So glad I stayed in Calico Rock, quiet small town with so much to see and do outdoors

This was just what we’re were looking for . A place to return to at night in our van and enjoy a nights sleep with AC. Patricia communicated perfectly and we had no problems with the campsite or amenities .

Patricia answered my call when no one else would . Patricia has a excellent little spot for RV’s and Vans . We needed a place to park during the night to plug our van in to enjoy the AC after a long day and this worked perfect for us . We would recommend her spot for anyone passing through or spending a few days . 50a/30/a/20/a, water and sewage .

We really enjoyed Patricia's camp. It was easy to access and the hook ups were convenient. It was very welcoming as she had a fire ring and firewood ready for us to use and light a fire. It was a very quiet area and even though we only stayed one night because we were on a schedule to get to FL, the area around Calico Rock was beautiful and I'm sure we would have enjoyed a longer stay.

We spent one night at Calico Camp. It was quiet, and we slept well. Plenty of firewood provided. We went in and met Patricia at her job. Very sweet lady! My only advice is to make sure you have an extension cord for your power hookup because it is on the wrong side when you back in so you need a little more reach. We had one, so it wasn’t a problem. Thanks, Patricia.

So peaceful even by a main hyway. Well kept area. Close to Grocery store and gas station. Great little historical town and shops with delightful merchants. Fantastic museum

We enjoyed our stay at Calico Camp, the setting is very nice and Patricia is a very kind and helpful hostess! We backed our 44' camper into the space easily. We'll definitely be back on our next trip to Calico Rock

We loved staying at Calico Camp. The camp site is great with everything you need. Patricia is also very friendly and very accommodating. Hopefully we'll be back someday!

Great experience and Patricia was an amazing host! The stars were glowing so bright and the sunrise was beautiful. I slept like a baby so comfortable. She also had electric which was awesome. Thank you!
