I had been traveling in Arkansas about 6 hours from home so looked into getting a spot closer to home for the last night and found this spot! It was perfect for that. Felt private and had a fire ring, electricity and port-a-potty. The carport was so nice for shade from sun but the table and chairs were nice to have for cooking and to set my water jug on as well as other things. I made some chili for dinner and went and sat in my lawn chair to watch the sunset. Then moved over to the fire pit (the stargazing was awesome!) before retiring to my car- I was happy to have such a level spot🙌🏼I met the neighbor and his dog on my way out who was so nice and my dog and his dog ended up playing for a bit. It was private the entire time and he was just on his morning walk I think so no worries about being bothered as I didn’t see them any other time. Some traffic passing by on gravel road but nothing too bothersome. I really enjoyed my night here and will love to stay again!

We loved our stay on Daniel’s land - peaceful and remote, but close enough to enjoy all the activities in Bentonville. When we come back to the area (and we sure will - Bentonville is a blast!), I’ll be looking to book Blackwater Forge first.

This is the cutest little spot! Nestled up in the woods off a dirt road, if you’re looking for a quiet spot away from the city, you found it! I even woke up to some goats baaing outside my window one morning.
Finding the location was easy and it was pretty simple to pull my 24foot camper up to. I would probably stay longer if there was water available. But other than that, I’d definitely suggest you check it out! 15 minutes to Bentonville and all the things amenities it offers. Perfect location in my book.

Nice site in the country. I definitely prefer this to crowded campgrounds. Owner left firewood by the firepit. Nice touch. Quiet except in the daytime there was frequent dust generating dump truck traffic to the quarry down the road. Owner checked in with us via text message. Electric hookup is on the passenger side if you back in, so I would recommend pulling in nose first if possible to get that hookup on the driver's side as well as the firepit on your passenger side. Put the GPS coordinates into your navigation system so you don't overshoot the site like we did. We stayed in a 38 ft motorhome.

This spot was absolutely beautiful! The host and his son were very kind and the seldom passing neighbors always waved. Very clean and safe would highly recommend!

I loved car camping at this site! It had a good sized pad for parking and a perfect sized fire pit. I enjoyed the bit of wildlife I saw, the neighboring animals never became disrupting, and the road was very quiet. It was close enough to town that I didn’t feel disconnected, but it was far enough out that I could enjoy nature and see plenty of stars. Would definitely recommend this spot.

We were scrambling after another Hipcamp scammed us. It was 8pm, dark, we had a 25 ft trailer packed to the gills, three kids and two dogs had done 3 12 hour days, and we had no place to go. We found Daniel’s place, booked and messaged to make sure we were dealing with a human. Daniel messaged right back and guided us right into the spot. We started with one night because we were coming off of such a bad experience, but booked the rest of the week but morning. We had five acres of fenced lawn all to ourselves. It was absolutely perfect for the dogs and boys to run around while we completed some work on the trailer. It’s a beautiful, quiet, private setting. It’s about 30 minutes from town but once we leave camp, it’s not like we’re back and forth, so it totally works. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful clean private location with an amazing sunset view. The roads coming into camp are hilly so be prepared. But, so worth the privacy and sunset view. Easy booking and checking in process too.

Great location! We loved how peaceful and beautiful the surrounding area was. Pretty close to Bentonville, but far enough away to get a break from the city. The site was easy to access, and the gravel and electrical hookup were appreciated! The host doesn’t live on the property, but we ran into him coming in and had a pleasant encounter. Would stay here again.
