Enjoyed the camping trip! Being able to light fireworks on premise with family was a blast. Enjoyed the nearby fireworks show. Would do campsite again!

This was my first time Hipcamping and what a great place to start a journey! Chris is a wonderful camp host and met some wonderful people to share a fire with. It is quiet here and all you hear are birds, nature and fish jumping in the pond. Fantastic place. Happy to have stopped here.

I loved camping by the pond. Perfect spot for hammock swinging on the edge of the pond. Very peaceful and quite. Wonderful falling asleep watching the light Ripple across the pond while listening to frogs croking, crickets singing and fish splashing. Short walk from the clean bathroom and firewood stack. Absolutely beautiful walk or short drive to the boat dock. Where you can fish or just relax. The view is stunning quite difficult to leave!
Bradley was Absolutely wonderful. Went out of his way to make sure I got the best site and new my choices.
Bradley land is 30 min from Mount Nemo, 30 min from Lake Darnell, 45 min from Petit Jean Mount, 1 hour from Mount Magazine, 1 hour from falling Water Falls. A perfect camp ground for exploration in the Ozarks with your pup. He loved loved camping by the pond!
So happy we found this spot! Quiet, beautiful, disc golf baskets, and a sweet little lake right there! To top it off, there’s steaming hot shower!
This campsite is fantastic! Beautiful location with amazing hosts. The little catch and release pond behind the primitive tent sites was a plus. There is also a disc golf course right next to the tent sites if you fancy. 10/10 highly recommend 👌

Bradley was a very responsive host.
Nice location on Lake Atkins. The new owner is making lots of upgrades. Mostly long term RV sites, but I felt welcomed even though I only stayed 1 night.

Great place for camping and rv, especially if you have a boat. There’s a boat ramp half a minute from the campground. Look’s like the owner is making a lot of improvements; I can’t wait to come back.

Nice spot with friendly and attentive hosts.
There was only a single toilet/shower combo, which lead to fairly long lines with how many people were there to watch the 2024 eclipse, however it probably wouldn't be bad if visiting when there isn't a large event like that.

The property was spacious and easy to find. The pavilion over the water was lovely and lake access was super easy and convenient. There is only one bathroom which shouldn’t be an issue under normal circumstances (we were there for the eclipse). The host was very friendly and answered questions quickly. Would stay again!

Pros: The campsite is beautiful and right on Lake Atkins. We were in a wide open field and it was perfect for the solar eclipse.
Cons: The advertised - electricity, water, toilets and showers - were basically non-existent. There was an unfinished building with ONE shower and ONE toilet in ONE room. This for at minimum 200 people. There was no host to check anyone in, just a sign that said to pick a spot. I think there maybe were electric hookups for camper vans, but I’m not sure since we were camping with a tent. There was free firewood, but no designated spots to make a fire. Had we known this we would have packed our solo stove. No tables either. We were literally in a field. Which brings me to the last point - I reached out to the campsite host on Hipcamp early on to inquire about our designated site. He never got back. If we would have known some of the amenities would not actually be available due to the sheer volume of people we would have brought the necessary items.

I camped here with 2 friends to experience the 2024 solar eclipse, and we all had a great time! There was plenty of room for us to pull in and set up our tents, and Bradley was very responsive and accommodating when booking. There was one flush toilet on the property which resulted in long lines the morning of the eclipse, but this is probably not an issue on most other days. Overall, we had a great experience and would recommend this campsite!

With eclipse, probably chaos for everyone. Though weatherman predicted clouds for eclipse, Bradley did special order in a perfectly clear sky! 👍👍. Only 1 bathroom that was a combination for showering. We had lines of 12 +/- long. Rumor was they tried to order in Porta potties but none available due to eclipse. Bathroom was keep fairly tidy even under circumstances. Was confused in that there was no process to check-in. Free campers could have joined and don’t think management had way of determining who was legit. But again - chaos with the eclipse. Recommend bringing fishing pole or canoe or such. Though initially gave mixed review, I would recommend under “normal” circumstances.

Misrepresentation of facilities;

Referred by the Russellville, AR listings for the 2024 solar eclipse. The Hipcamp write-up stated the property had "toilets" and shower facilities (both plural). There was also a picture of what could be considered a full bath house. Upon arrival we were shocked to see one door (at the time of our arrival, not even properly labeled as facilities), which contained one toilet and one shower. As a conservative estimate, this property eventually contained over 350 separate tent camping spots, many with multiple tenting companions. The sanitation facilities were completely inadequate for the number of campers allowed into the property. Many people were using the surrounding woods as their relief sites, making the conditions unsanitary. Only one dumpster was furnished and was overflowing with trash in a short amount of time. The property stated that campfires were allowed, but there were no visible campfire rings or provisions for safely making a campfire. Tent campsites were listed as "dispersed", apparently meaning "wherever you want". After returning from a day of hiking, we were shocked to see that another camper had camped so close to our tent and supplies that we could barely squeeze our truck next to our own tent. The owner could have provided at least porta potties for the anticipated peak of campers. This was my first experience on hipcamp, and if this is indicative of unvetted hosts, I'm not impressed. The host was obviously a money-grabbing opportunist cashing in.

Very nice area to camp, but description was not accurate. Advertised flush toilet and showers, which was true, but the toilet and shower stall were the same and there was only one for the whole campground. Should have gotten port a potties or included the limitations in the description
