I booked this campsite, received a confirmed booking #, drove 3 & 1/2 hrs, get there and the gate is shut. Message the host Joe and no answer, call the host and get no answer. I contact Hipcamp and they call and leave a message and send an email and still the host Joe does not answer. I ended up having to book a camp late that evening and set up camp in the dark. Don’t waste your time.

MY Boyfriend and my little westie dog, Remy had an amazing time at 1440 Dreamland. It truly is an amazing property. I love all the caves and rock structures. I have never seen anything like it anywhere before. Joe goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need and does what he can to accommodate throughout the trip. And drove down and checked on us every morning. He is a fun guy with a big personality. And we will definitely be returning to this wonderful place with all the beauty and R&R it has to offer. Thank you Joe for having us, we appreciate you having us this weekend.

Wow, what an amazing place! The scenery and caves were like something out of a movie. There was so much to experience and explore. Two days was not near enough time to fully appreciate it.
Joe, the host, was fantastic and made sure we were taken care of. Absolutely exceptional experience and would love to come back!

We have camped her twice and both times had amazing experiences. Submerged in nature and beauty with the feeling of being far away from civilization yet you still have phone service and are minutes from a dollar store. The stocked ponds are fun to fish and the caves are breathtaking. You could stay a week and not see the whole property . We highly recommend camping here!

There are so many areas to explore and huge boulders to climb! It’s hard to pick one spot to set camp !! We have camped here twice and still have a long list of caves and bluffs to check out.
Up top on the ridge is one of the best spots to watch the sunset.

Amazing beautiful land. We had family meet up there for the eclipse and really enjoyed ourselves. The property is massive and is great for walks and exploring. Joe was a great host and down to Earth. We would absolutely stay here again if we were in the area.

Camping on Joe's land was unlike any other camping experience we have ever had. Joe was super welcoming and showed us around the entire property. We were the only campers and it felt like we had an entire State Park to ourselves! This is a really remarkable property and exploring it was an exhilarating adventure. This is an astonishingly special property - kudos to Joe for all the hard work he has put into making it accessible!

I can't say enough about how incredible our experience was at this camp! From the moment we arrived, Joe, our gracious host, made us feel like family. The picturesque landscape surrounding the camp left us in awe, and we've had the privilege of camping all across the United States. It's safe to say that this place has skyrocketed to the top of our list of favorite destinations. The abundance of activities and exploration opportunities kept us endlessly entertained, and the scenery, well, it's simply unparalleled. We can't give this camp anything less than a resounding 10/10; it's the epitome of a perfect host and a perfect camp!

Loved our stay here! The views were gorgeous. Hiking available for all skill levels. Plenty of trees if you, like us, hammock camp! Joe took the time to show us around the huge property. Cell signal was perfect as well. He mentioned the property has WiFi but we never tried it out. Had a storm blow through but we're able to duck into the cave to stay dry.

HOLY CRAP!!!!! Joe, his wife and family are AMAZING people!!! Let me tell you, his land is just as elegant!! We only explored maybe 20% of the available attractions and spent 48 hours doing so! Hands down the best place in all of Arkansas! If you can dream of doing it, he’s got it! From horseback riding, to fishing, hunting, hiking, jogging, climbing, stargazing, cave dwelling, waterfall watching, sunset photography, animals and fresh eggs; THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE!!! Thank you so much my friend!

I would love to keep this special space a secret, but it’s too cool to not share how much we enjoyed our time here. The hosts were easy to communicate with and Joe lead us through a tour of the property. There were so many places to explore and we’re planning on coming back again. Did I mention they have Wi-Fi?! This place is a must-stay.

Catfish Pond Area
Joe has created a fantastic place to unwind and reconnect with nature. You can tell he cares about everyone enjoying themselves and is an excellent communicator. The sites are all stunningly beautiful and private. It was closer to a nature preserve where you felt like the only human around for miles. Tons of wildlife, impressive rock formations with caves and who doesn't like a clear/clean 5-acre pond to just hang around and fish. Right now this is a truly off grid experience - which is perfect for those wanting to get away from it all. Nighttime was also spectacular. Great sunset and little/to no ambient light in the area so great stargazing!

This place is a hidden gem but won’t be hidden for long. The energy on the land is strong and very positive, and Joe and his family match that energy as well. The hosts were very communicative and accommodating, and made us (my dog and I) feel very welcome. There are so many trails, and so many things to do. Hiking, swimming, fishing, off-roading, star gazing, rock climbing, foraging… My dog loved it all and she was so happy! The sunsets are spectacular on the ridge, the spring fed lakes are refreshing and well stocked, the woods are shady and cool, the caves are epic, the huge rock formations hold a history you can feel… I could go on and on. You could easily stay for a month and not run out of things to do!
Joe and his team have some big plans for this place, and I’m excited to see it all. I’ll be coming back for each season and want to enjoy this property over and over again.
