Rustic setting with lots of heart
This site is hosted by a sweet big family who are enthusiastic about each and every guest (young and old). Our little girl looked forward to helping out with the farm chores and having new friends to play with. While the site is rustic, the hookups worked perfectly and we were surprised with how much there was to do in the surrounding area if you're willing to do some scenic driving. We really enjoyed the easy hikes in Buenos Aires National Wildlife Refuge (a great birding area) which was only 10 minutes away. The other day we took the 45 minute backcountry road to Tumacacori National Historical Park and Tubac Presidio State Historic Park. Overall, it's a great option for this part of the state.

We really loved this authentic place. They are very welcoming and if your a looking for a special place with kids, it’s the spot. Our kids had really appreciate to have friends and their kids are awesome.

We enjoyed staying in Casey's camper. It was clean and had plenty of hot water. We loved the surrounding desert scenery, mountains, and wildlife, and seeing the stars at night. We also enjoyed petting the dogs, horses, and goats! The whole family was very nice. They are very uplifting people.

Casey's land is beautiful. It's a casual, quiet place in rolling hills by the small town of Arivaca. We had everything we needed and the goats were very entertaining. The kids are interesting and very well-mannered. We enjoyed our stay and would go there again.

Camping at Casey’s campground was delightful. We were greeted by his extremely friendly family. Our kids enjoyed playing with his children, as well as getting to play with and help care for their goats, large and dwarf goats. I enjoyed a daily walk around the edge of their property with our dog.
Our site was level and looked out over the surrounding mountains. (I loved seeing the sunset each evening.) The sites all had 50 amp, water and sewer. The road to their camp is newly paved.
If you’re looking for a warm and welcoming place, with beautiful surroundings this is a great location. I will also add it is within an hour drive of a number of great hiking locations (Saguaro NP, Madera Canyon, Buenos Aires National Wildlife Refugee), as well as historical sites (Titan II Missile Museum & Tumácacori NM).

Cozy Camper- Mountain Views &Horses
Perfect family getaway.
Such a great place. Our dogs had a great time roaming around. Our son had the time of his life exploring, feeding the horses, and holding the baby goats. The camper was much larger than we expected with a bunch of extra snacks, movies, and plenty of blankets and pillows. We will most definitely return.
