I'm just starting out with this little hobby farm. I have lots of chickens that roam during the day. I offer eggs to sell. It's all a work-in-progess, but it's a lot of fun. Learn more about this land: We are located between the Black Mountains (to the west) and Cerbat Mountains (to the east). There are many trails in the area for hiking. The desert views are beautiful with various flora (cactus, Joshua trees, yucca, etc.) and fauna (quail, roadrunner, raven, ground squirrel, cottontail, jackrabbits, wild horses, etc.) The Grand Canyon and Lake Mead are 60 miles north; Kingman is 40 miles south. The 'ghost town' of Chloride is 30 miles south. The town of Oatman (where donkeys roam the streets) is about 60 miles south.

    Kim was friendly and a gracious host, helping us navigate after dark and supplied us with fresh eggs from her chickens. Under different weather circumstances I would probably recommend to friends and others but because it was so hot and her property had been hit by the recent monsoon, we decided not to stay the second night. This was mostly due to the extremely warm weather.

    Sarah’s campsite was perfect if you’re trying to go to Grand Canyon west. Tucked away and quiet, Sarah was super accommodating for us as a big monsoon came in unexpectedly. Great place to stay!

    Best ever!
    We really enjoyed our stay at Kim’s chicken farm. The sunrise & sunsets were magical. We even got to watch a full moon rise. Super peaceful. Super quiet. Kim was a great host & made sure we had everything we needed. The kids loved the chickens & the eggs were amazing. We’ll definitely be back.

    Great, secluded spot
    This site was exactly what we needed. Kim was welcoming and helped us orient ourselves when we arrived late at night. The site itself is well raked with a fire pit. Only thing to watch out for is the drive in; it is a fairly bumpy gravel road and tricky to navigate at night.
