What are you waiting for?Grand Canyon Junction is a rural area that has been kept as natural as possible. If you walk around, you'll see lots covered in juniper and pine trees, native grasses, and flowering shrubs. Many people who visit and live in this area are seeking a quiet, beautiful getaway. There is no public transportation from our neighborhood, so you'll need to have a car available. The Grand Canyon offers shuttle services within the park! The road to the Juniper House is hard-packed dirt and the driveway is graded cinder. Any car can make it on these surfaces. The road does have bumps and dips so we recommend taking your drive in slowly and carefully.

A "floater" was left for us!

With pets

Comfortable bed... Slept well. Someone left a "floater" in the compostable toilet and it stunk up the tiny home with a smell so rancid we had to go buy air freshener and block the bathroom door with a towel. Unfortunately having a decent toilet was one of the main reasons we wanted this place as opposed to others nearby. We ended up going to town to do our businesses and had to wait to get coffee so it didn't trigger anything at the tiny home. We didn't do much at the property to know how the rest of amenities were. Solar works well... Private and secluded.. that was okay. Overall, we'll probably get a different spot where we could bring our own portable toilet from now on.

Great trip!

The home was clean and well kept! Stephen was very responsive with any questions. Nice quiet area that was very pretty! Just be aware of the compost toilet if this is something you are not fond of.

The Juniper

The Juniper is such a charming spot to stay. It's a lovely tiny home that would fit four very comfortably. It runs off solar, so you have some light in the evening, allowing you to play around of cards or two well into the eveing, and a fridge to keep things cold in the summer. There is also a shower, running water in the kitchen, and a stove. It's such a wonderful place to star gaze and enjoy the night. The Grand Canyon is also not too far, making it a perfect place to see the sunrise or sunset. The directions both written and on Google Maps got us there just fine and Stephen was easy to reach and chat with if we needed anything. Would recommend staying here.
