3 days of amazing experiences thanks to our Sunrise Campground location! Nestled right outside of Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park. Surrounded by Mesas, Buttes & Spires the views were amazing. A trail from the campground is an added bonus. Will definite recommend this place!!

This was the most magical campground I’ve ever stayed at. The host is super nice and responsive, and the campground is deep in the valley so you are surrounded by the monuments. I can’t recommend this campsite enough! Amazing stargazing as well

The first day/night was fine. In the morning the owners dogs, which I was in formed one of them bites and was wandering around barking at everything. That evening they and all there surrounding neighbors dogs started bark at 7:30 pm and all of them including the owners barked all night 12hr straight. The toilet smelled all the way across the camp the shower you 5$ had to walk 100ft to turn on water back to turn on the gas shower and repeat to turn off. The Flys were everywhere and relentless the view was unbelievable beautiful and worth the problems

The view of monument valley without the crowd was unbelievable sunrise or sunset take your pick no words can describe the view you will see it very small walk from the camp about 5 minutes and it was quiet and the host was so wonderful and helpful I would stay here again for sure.

Celia’s campground was lovely! The views were gorgeous, great trail access, sweet lil covered picnic area and clean bathrooms. Her husband was so sweet and friendly and the baby horse was the cherry on top. Would definitely stay here again!

It was fun camping on Celia's land. Wonderful views of two buttes Mitchell Mesa, Mitchell Butte which illuminate by the sun at sunrise. Sandy and Dusty but worth it!

Sunrise Camping at Monument Valley is one of the nicest Hipcamps we have stayed at. The landowners are very friendly and accommodating. The camping area is immaculately clean and well maintained. Each campsite as its own shaded shelter. We enjoyed the Navajo tacos. It is a short walk of less than 1/2 mile to a nearby ridge with a beautiful view of Monument Valley. We highly recommend this campsite.

We loved staying here! There were many amenities that made camping easy and the hosts, Celia and Stephen were lovely people. We would absolutely recommend staying here and the sights were UNREAL!! I cannot believe this is their backyard. What a glorious place to live. We will be back!

We absolutely loved camping here! The views are breathtaking and our campsite was perfectly setup with shaded seating, fire pit, and clean bathrooms. The hosts were very welcoming and responsive and helped us find our site when we arrived. We are so happy we stayed here and hope to come back again someday!

It is only 5 minutes from Monument Valley and one of the only campgrounds around that allows pets. They have fire pits and picnic tables, which are also not available at the main Monument Valley campground, plus food for sale if you're too tired to cook. They will bring the food right out to your tent.
Great views of one of the mesas and a private walking trail. Adventure surrounded us: a tame horse on the property (we fed her some apples) and a 5-day-old baby horse still weaning (so cute). They were visited by a wild horse (possible father?) And they nuzzled through the fence. The wild horse played a game of chicken with our car (so exciting), we let him win.
Coyotes sang us to sleep and the bright sun aroused us in the morning. Pit toilets and a propane shower in a wooden shed made you feel like a pioneer. The shower was cold, but they are working on fixing it. Ask chatGPT about the benefits of a cold shower it is actually very healthy. Showers were 5 dollars per person for two days, a steal when you consider all water has to be hauled in by truck.
There are two adorable little dogs on the property. One is very mellow and just sort of sniffs around. Another is a guard dog. He might seem mean at first, but he doesn't bite; he just tries to shove you with his paws, which I found hilarious.
We found some Navajo food at a local grocery store and cooked it over the fire, Lamb ribs and Ach'íí' (lamb fat wrapped with lamb intestines), delicious.

Located directly outside of Monument Valley with beautiful views. Hosts were great, helped us find our site when we arrived after dark. Bathrooms are only vault toilets but they were clean and stocked with everything you need. The baby horse was an extra cute bonus.

We enjoyed our stay at Celia's property. It was quiet and easy access. We have a 30' fifth wheel and had no issues with accessing the site and setting up. Celia was great at answering our questions ahead of our stay and she set up a private tour for us to see the backcountry with a Navajo Guide and he was exceptional. If your looking for a modest property off the grid, I would recommend this property.
