*EASY ACCESS WITH LARGE TRAILERS* We invite you to come enjoy our sliver of the Sonoran Desert here in New River. We are situated adjacent to state land that displays a majestic Saguaro forest in the mountains (where our small rural community meets the wilderness). Enjoy easy access to endless mountain trails as you roam through the this densely populated region of saguaros (hike or bring 4WD) . The local wildlife entails a variety of beautiful creatures of varying sizes. All three Saguaro sites provide full RV services (water, electrical, and 30/50 amp hookups) with plenty of space between for enjoyment of the views. Boondocker sites are great for easy in-out dry camping, making for an early start for your trip out of town. Driving paths are covered with gravel throughout the property. Boondocker 2 is by currently closed for renovations. We are just 10 minutes from the I-17 (Lake Pleasant is just a 30-45 minute drive). Phoenix is a close commute, where you will find many more amenities. Rent an off-road vehicle, boat for the lake (or bring yours!), or plan a tour and ENJOY YOUR STAY! We are more than happy to help facilitate your time here. We welcome pets, but do note there are occasional encounters with neighborhood dogs and plenty of wildlife. For their safety, best to keep them leashed or bring an enclosure. In the future, we plan to provide an enclosure for dogs to safely play and run off-leash. Daytime arrival highly recommended! We understand though how travels go, so keep us informed of your ETA and we will help guide you in.

Relax, park, and hook up to the electrical, setpic, and water. Then, sit back to enjoy the quiet and relax. There is plenty of outdoor exercise if you enjoy hiking, and the wildlife is incredible. We frequently have mule deer, coyotes, lots of birds, rabbits, and squirrels. The sunsets and views of the New River Mountains are amazing! Even rent a quad or bring a 4WD with good clearance and hit the trails for the stunning views of VALLEYS of saguaro cacti!

This is a beautiful site with a majestic view of the Saguaro Forrest. This site makes Saguaro National Forrest a forgotten experience—several hundred of saguaro cacti are directly in your view, just steps outside our property entrance. Beyond the hill, the magnificent mountains and valleys are home to tens of thousands of saguaros! All this is just a short walk from your rig as our property borders state trust land, where you will find endless trails and wildlife galore. Hiking, off-roading, photographic opportunities, and more are available in our area. The springtime flowers are a real treat if you can book then.

This site has great views, is located on a cement slab, and has a nice sandy spot with shady mesquite trees out the front and a table. The quail, dove, and rabbit LOVE this area so expect to see plenty of smaller animals. This site comes with 30 & 50-amp electrical hookups, septic hookup, and water. You will love the views and the privacy. This site is best for smaller trailers and vans.

We were looking for a last minute spot in the greater Phoenix area and we were hoping not to have to stay in a trailer park that seems so common. Shawn & Roxy’s spot was perfect. Located in a rural area in north Phoenix surrounded by saguaros, the spot was clean and quiet, except for the occasional coyote howl. The hosts were welcoming and responsive with all communications. The utilities worked great. Our only suggestion would be to have more signage to help campers see where to turn in to the property. We highly recommend this site!

Very quiet. Clean and easy. On private property which is located at a house. Camp site was away from the home which was nice. Again very private quiet easy access. Camp host was easy to contact. Got back to me very fast. Nice neighborhood.

Amenities were perfect, the site felt private, and we enjoyed the gorgeous views and sunset. Shawn and Roxy were extremely responsive and helpful. It was warm at night (around 75) so very grateful for the 30 AMP connection.

My partner, two pups and I had a wonderful stay at Shawn and Roxy’s property. They were extremely accommodating and communicative. Everything (electrical hookups, water connections, dump station) worked flawlessly. We will definitely be back! Thanks for the lovely time :)

We took our Class A on our way to Saguaro. Location is great, beautiful area. Shawn and Roxy are easy to communicate with. The property is near the forest. We walked over and took picture of sunset. All around great place.

Absolutely amazing place to stay! We stayed for a month in our 44ft Toyhauler on site 2. It felt private and safe and hosts are kind and helpful!! There are also so many places to explore. There is a hiking trail within walking distance. Bartlett Lake, Pleasant Lake and Horseshoe Lake and all worth the trip!

Address and directions provided by host were good, but campsite names were a bit confusing to determine. Otherwise great hookups.. didn't use dump station but great and big sites. Lovely natural views and perfect for stargazing

Last night of our camping trip. We were able to sit outside and enjoy the evening. Got the guitar out and entertained the local bunnies, doves and quail. Shawn and Roxy have a beautiful property.

I stayed in both spot one and two fabulous fabulous time fabulous views Serenity peacefulness. The hosts were unbelievably gracious and I recommend this to anyone that is looking for a very peaceful camping spot.

This property is a peaceful and beautiful desert landscape nestled amongst the saguaros. It was a treat to see so many of the cacti in bloom. We did not meet our hosts but they communicated promptly and the directions provided were clear.

This is such a peaceful spot! The lot and the landscaping was so gorgeous, it was like a park. There were so many birds. I am sure the sunsets are beautiful, but unfortunately we had a cloudy evening. We enjoyed our stay and will book again when in the area!

Shawn and Roxy were so accommodating when a truck mechanical issue left us stranded. The site was beautiful, quiet, and relaxing. The landscaping was fantastic and proved safe for our three dogs.

Great experience! It’s an excellent spot on a lovely property. Good for boon docking too! I like they have that option. Located well for day trips. Stayed here a whole week and didn’t run out of things to do! Hosts are sweet and check in. Everything you need.

Great location and site! Hosts had awesome communication. Stopped here for 2 nights on my way out of the Phoenix area. The area felt very safe & boondockers 2 was a good distance from the other sites. Easy to access from the freeway. Enjoyed a few walks in the “Saguaro Forest” with our dog. Would definitely stay again next time we’re in the area!

The day we arrived at 1 Saguaro Forrest, it was one of the few days of heavy rain in Arizona. The site was well manicured, clean and had gravel throughout the property. This made for a easy and clean set up in the rain! The site was very private even though there were other campers nearby. We would definitely stay here again.
