Claire’s land is next level. Walking trails, shaded areas, outdoor bathroom with shower, flushing toilet and sink. What more coul you ask for. The setting is peaceful and tranquil. The hens and goats add an engaging element to our stay that was majestic. This is a 5.5 out of 5 hipcamp. And Claire is an caring host who goes out of her way to accomodate. Thoroughly loved every moment

Such a wonderful, peaceful place. Very safe, a few minutes from the park, easy to find, good service with T-Mobile. I enjoyed seeing the goats and chickens. I wish I could have stayed longer.

Claire was very welcoming and everything was great. It was super nice to have water and a grill right there. Best bathroom and shower I’ve seen at a campsite. I highly recommend this place.

Claire is a wonderful host. Her 4 acre ranch of goats, chickens, tortise is a special slice of heaven. Oh, did I mention the best outdoor shower anywhere? You will love it!

This was a pleasant retreat for those of us who are not fans of RV parks. Only a few miles from Saguaro National Park & the
Sonoran Desert Museum. We visited & loved both. Beautiful sunsets. There has been alot of thought put into this property and it works. Outdoor showers, toilet, dish cleaning station, grills, friendly goats, chickens, tortoises, & dog. Our host is friendly, kind & very responsive. Close to Tucson, but out far enough to feel like you are out in the country. Perfect for us. We stayed for several days while exploring the area & would highly recommend it.

Such a cool spot! Claire's land has great energy & the camper was comfortable and clean. Walked around the property & checked out the other camping spots & they are all amazing! I would & hope to stay here again! Highly recommended!

This was a great spot that offered more than a typical dry camp spot - the outdoor bathroom with plumbed toilet, shower, and sink were appreciated. Host was kind. Goats were amusing. Great location in terms of proximity to Saguaro West. It’s about an hour drive across Tucson to Saguaro East. But honestly we liked the west better and Rincon Mt. state park is close by. Only downside for us was noise. The area is rural but there are neighbors in earshot and we had to use earplugs and white noise to drown out a neighbor’s music one night. Other night was coyotes and neighbor dogs. And the on-site and neighbors’ roosters will let you know when morning has arrived!

This was my second time staying at Rancho Relaxo, I’ve found it to be a really good spot to use as a home base in while in Tucson. Claire is a great and considerate host, and I was able to enjoy some fresh eggs from her backyard flock!

Best spot we've stayed in so far! The outside sink and faucet, the gas grill, chaise lounge, picnic table...all right there in your spot! The outside shower and bathroom is so nice and clean...there are 3 sites on Claire's property, and they were all filled, yet, it was still very private, even sharing the outside shower/bathroom,...Claire was awesome and we will definitely be back!!
Also the Suguaro National Park is breathtakingly beautiful. We hiked the 3.4 mile up the mountain and also the 4.3 hike. Definitely recommend the 3.4 hike...it's the only 3.4 hike in the brochure at the Visitors Center.

Claire’s place is an excellent set up. It has a thoughtful layout with creative touches throughout the property. We tent camped and had a nice wide area with trees, a gas grill, sink, and fire pit. Steps away is a bathroom with shower with hot water on demand.
Coming from Ohio, we loved the unique landscape.
We especially enjoyed the little artisan touches around the property.
It’s a small hobby farm so expect to hear chickens, a few goats and a friendly doggy visit now and then.
It’s a short distance to Saguaro NP and we enjoyed a lot of hiking and exploring the area.

For four peaceful days we relaxed our soggy northwest minds to mingle with a few chickens, goats and some desert tortoises.
It’s a quiet retreat. A day of hiking or biking ended with a beer in 72 degrees - sitting in their comfy chairs. Loved the handy outdoor kitchen area, grill and a sweet path to a labyrinth.
Owner Claire was friendly and efficient. The shower/ toilet/ heater is a one of a kind artistic treat! ~~ and the stars put on their show every night.

What a beautiful location and accommodations, I really enjoyed the seclusion of the place yet being so close to Tucson I would recommend this location for anybody that wants to have a very nice relaxing place. Looking forward to returning next year again when I’m back in the area.

Rancho Relaxo is 20 miles out of Tucson and only 7 miles from the Saguaro National Park. Claire has created a beautiful camping experience with her acreage. Chickens, goats and possibly a donkey in the future! Can't forget Crew, Claire's trusty companion and herder. Crew came to visit and play with us everyday:) If you are staying in the area, I would strongly recommend staying at Rancho Relaxo. Thank you Claire for a great 10 day stay.

I found Claire’s farm to be a wonderful property for a longer stay! The landscaping and campsites are inviting, the animals were fun to watch and the amenities are thoughtful and well maintained. I especially enjoyed the outdoor shower. Claire was a friendly and flexible host, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it or to stay here again!

After a long road trip Claires place was truly Relaxing. The site is well equipped and the Shower area was super nice so I stayed an extra night. It's always a good sign to leave a place refreshed and glad to have gone there. Great communication as well.

The outside shower and bathroom is super nice. The camp space is nice just a very short walk from car. There are lots of birds all around and lots of animals sounds from neighbors, steers, pigs, chickens and dogs. They have 3 baby turtles that were so cute. Claire is really nice and invited us to her pie party.

The campsite had great amenities and was very thoughtfully designed and put together. The shared shower and private sink area was wonderful to have. Claire was friendly and responsive. Be aware that there is a chicken enclosure with a rooster right next to the site.

My daughter and I stayed for 1 night on Claire's property. Our aim was to camp near Saguaro NP West and visit the Desert Museum as early as we could in the morning before continuing our journey. Communications with Claire were easy; we arrived after sunset and she guided us to our spot. After more than a week camping in our tent, my daughter wanted to camp in the car so we plugged in our EV to the 110v hookup and spent the night.
In the morning my daughter had a great time exploring the property and watching the chickens and goats while I packed up. The plumbed bathroom and shower with hot water was positively deluxe and we got to the park refreshed. We loved staying at Claire's and hope to be back!

Very nice set up, loved the very flat and soft mulched tent site. Nice amenities at the site like a little sink and clean gas bbq, comfy picnic table. Bathroom is cute and clean, neat hot water on demand shower available. Claire was friendly and helpful. It is a farm setting (cute dogs, goats, chickens and cattle) with other farms around so not totally quiet at night - some animal noises but otherwise exactly as described/pictured. We thought it was great and a great value.

My private tentsite was perfect. Had even some trees around to string up my laundry line. Bathroom was very nice . Loved the shower ! Turtle area was cool eventhough I didn't see any.

What a lovely space! The land is beautiful with a super comfortable outdoor shower with in line water heating and a heater for you too. The goats are friendly and we even saw a rainbow. Would highly recommend.
