A nice respite from the road

We love staying on Shirley and Keith’s land. It’s wonderful to have full hookups in a nice quiet, safe, neighborhood with a private patio. This place is perfect if you are passing through or staying a while longer. Very safe place for families and though there are other sites on either side it is usually not a problem if someone is in them there is enough room for everyone to have their own space.

I spent 3 months boondocking in the desert and I needed a few days of civilization to get clean, shop, and make some repairs. This little RV park was perfect. Wonderful neighborhood. I enjoyed walking my dogs near the golf course and letting them run off-leash. I'll keep this place as one of my favorites. Highly recommend.

This was a fantastic place. Keith and Shirley were very responsive when I had any question.
The location is great and quiet. And everything worked there including excellent Wi-Fi.

Loved this spot in the Foothills! It was a nice, quiet spot to explore the Yuma area. There are a total of four spots on the lot. Each spot has a concrete slab, privacy fence and access to the washing machine. The hosts are very responsive! We would definitely stay here again when we visit Yuma next!

Excellent place to camp we just loved the spot with hookups and its own private patio beautiful view of the mountains and quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors and camp host. The owner was very responsive to us when we needed him which we didn’t really because everything was perfect. We highly recommend this spot.

My husband and I absolutely love these spots. So clean and quiet and plenty of room to fit our travel trailer. The hosts are some of the best we’ve dealt with and very responsive with anything and always willing to offer help, if needed. If you ever have a chance to book at this little camp do it! You won’t regret it.

It’s quiet, in a nice little neighborhood very private. The roads are perfect for an electric scooter ride or long walks with your dog in the mornings or evenings. Can’t wait to come back and stay again.

Pros
The host are very responsive.
The Little Campland is located in an extremely quiet residential neighborhood, approximately 1.5 mi from the I-8 as the crow flies. A very good sleep can be enjoyed here.
Campland itself is immaculate. The pride of ownership is apparent.
The included wifi fluctuated from 3.4 Mbps down / 6.7 Mbps up to 2.6 Mbps down / 6.7 Mbps up. Quite adequate for emails, social media, and a little business. If one was streaming TV or movies, perhaps they would need to pull out their Starlink.
My Starlink performed decently here. 120 Mbps down / 18 Mbps up.
Cons
Unfortunately, it is a dated design, primarily suited for older smaller Class A units - much like a lot of county and state RV parks all the way down the Pacific coast and across California and Arizona. The newer your RV, the more poorly your RV will fit into the spot. I literally had to stick mostly out of the site, in order to open my front door and run my living room slide out. It's a good thing they note 'about 125-foot sites'.
It was not evident how to turn off the breakers. There's nothing I like less than plugging or unplugging my RV with a live circuit.
Overall, as long as the nightly rate stays reasonable, I would be more than happy to chill here for a couple of nights every time I pass through Yuma.

Large site. My 30' Class A RV fit easily. Room for slides if you have them. Level gravel surface. Easy access to connections.

Neighborhood is residential and quiet with wide, easy to drive, smooth streets.
Gravel lot with level cement pad surrounded by lattice fencing for privacy. Large spaces. Will accommodate slides on all sides with room to spare.
Lots of shopping within 2-12 miles from property. Nice walk trail alongside the property that flows throughout the neighborhood.
I have returned as it is nicer than the 4 RV Resorts that I have visited in Yuma and Yuma Fortuna Foothills.

The site was really easy to get in and out of (once we found the right place) and was perfectly level so getting set up was a breeze. We were close to the people we were visiting at that location. There was a nice little enclosed patio for our use which made it seem much more private that being on a public road. The host was VERY helpful in making sure we had everything we needed.
