RV spot with spectacular views
Private and spacious base for NP
We loved our two night stopover in our Campervan while visiting the NP. Kirsten and Sal were fantastic hosts - they greeted us in person even though we arrived late, and were full of great local knowledge, and even for our continuing trip East. The site (#1) is spacious and very nicely set out with a large fire pit and fun amenities such as corn hole. We spent so much time visiting the Petrified Forest we didn’t get to enjoy the site as much as we wished. That said, we would highly recommend this as a great location to explore the area - just 20 miles from the NP South Gate.
