Great Spot with Great Vibes
Great spot that was very much worth the visit! Book it! There was a great sense of community with the other campers and with Shanti. Very cool attractions near by, the sand boarding and water canyon trail were some of our favourites.

Camping with a welcoming community
I loved my time at Land Beyond Zion. Shanti is a fantastic host and provides a welcoming atmosphere at here campsite. Shanti is also very knowledgeable about hiking in the local area which allowed me to expand the possibilities of my trip. I would and definitely plan on coming back again sometime.

We loved the area! The Hipcamp stay is so beautiful and well designed. We enjoy the community communal aspect and the self love, self trust reminders everywhere. The stars at night are breathtaking!

We love this place!!! Shanti was an awesome host, very welcoming. Dogs very welcome and free to roam if friendly. Everything you’d need is here. Bathrooms/showers are clean. Kitchen was well-equipped and clean. Host had great advise for Zion to-do’s. We would love to come back on our next trip to Zion!

Very friendly and welcoming host. The other guests were also lovely. The place had a warm communal feel. The location is beautiful and well positioned between Zion and also the North Rim access for the grand canyon. Lovely hot shower!

The Best Site For Zion/Bryce Canyon
I loved my time here. It was my favorite stop along my road trip. I met incredible, kind, like-minded people and this is 100% due to Shanti’s hard work. She creates a welcoming communal atmosphere that is infectious. From the minute I stepped foot on the site I felt embraced. I had been on the road for about a week at this point and I was so tired. They took me in and we had such a blast over the next few days. I will never forget my time here and I highly recommend to anyone staying in the area. Shanti’s place has everything you could want - a hot shower with a HEATER, TWO bathrooms, TWO kitchens, and plenty of communal space. My glamping tent was heated as well and it was perfect, the bed was super comfy and I slept like a rock. Especially after that Angel’s Landing hike, which Shanti guided with ease and expertise. This woman is cultivating something truly special. I will be back!

AMAZING CAMPSITE!
Best camping experience I’ve had! Shanti was amazing, very friendly and helpful. Our campsite was perfect and very spacious. The bathroom and shower was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was a life saver. Then in the morning, Shanti was there to offer us coffee with her cute smiling face. I will definitely be back again.

I’ve stayed in lots of off-the-beaten-path camp/glamp sites and this one has been my favorite! I was a solo lady traveler with a dog, had a tent site for 2 nights, and felt very safe here. The vibe is super welcoming, Shanti (and Heath!) were super easy to contact for help when needed, and were also around a lot for general good times and suggestions for great nearby (non NP) hikes, brewery/coffee shops, etc. The heated outdoor shower was *fantastic* after hiking my ass off in Zion. Two outdoor kitchens available, group fire pit if you’re feeling social, super close to a grocery store that has everything, so if you forgot something it’s just a five minute drive. Stars were pretty great (on a new moon they’ll be phenomenal.) Only a teeny tiny bit of off-road driving, so my teeny tiny Honda Civic had no issues getting there. The (45 min) drive between here and Zion NP was gorgeous, (and if like me, you need a dog sitter so you can hike in the park, I would recommend Canyon Paws, right on the way.) Coral Sand Dune state park down the road, and I hear lots of dinosaur footprints are nearby if you’re into that. Loved the other guests, 5 stars all around.

Comfortable and the views!!
This space is filled with great energy, perfect outdoor kitchens, shower and bathrooms. The Nook in particular was cozy and just what I needed. I could have and should have stayed longer! Shanti is a great host who anticipates your every need. The location is perfect for so many activites including Zion NP and Coral Pink Sands SP. Everything was clean and there was great space for yoga and even hammocks to chill in.

Absolutely Stellar!
I have nothing but great things to say about Shanti and Land Beyond Zion.
We stayed on The Nook and loved the coziness and cute charm that was put into it. Extremely comfortable beds and awesome view. The bathrooms and outdoor shower w/ heater was fun! The kitchen is amazing as well. Plenty of options to cook with and Shanti provides a bunch of different seasonings; no need to buy any!
This was a beautiful spot to lay head and heart at night. Plus she’s an awesome guide in Zion — ask her about all that she offers!!

Beautiful, fun and kid-friendly
The attention to detail at this beautiful camp was wonderful — from beautiful art and murals though our camp, to hooks exactly where you need to hang extra bags and clothes up, to the jugs of fresh spring water and nice towels placed in the Nook. Shanti was such a welcoming host who went above and beyond to make sure her Land Beyond Zion guests were comfortable, had everything they needed with a fully stocked kitchen complete with condiments, appliances, coffee seasoning, cookware and utensils to soap and shampoo in the bathhouse shower. Land Beyond Zion is a great jumping off point for hikes and outdoor adventures in the area. The kids area was a delight to my son. The camp attracted other fun campers who were welcoming and happy to share campfires and friendly chats. Shanti’s guided hikes were the perfect length and challenge level for us and she also provided detailed instructions, directions and insider info for self-guided adventures. A highlight was doing acrobatic yoga under the desert stars with fellow campers one night. As a single mom, I’m always looking for inclusive, safe, kid-friendly destinations like this one. This was a perfect spring break vacation trip for us!

Fabulous stay- this is truly a must visit for families. Shanti is beyond generous and is so warm and welcoming. She gave us great itinerary suggestions! This is a magical place and we were sad to leave!
The tent pad makes for cooler camping than sleeping on the ground. We had a portable heater so we were comfortable but for people visiting outside of the summer season it’s good to prepare for cold desert nights.
Campground is near the highway but the road noise isn’t too bothersome- it’s quiet at night. The stargazing is fantastic.
Best outdoor shower experience! The kitchen is extremely well stocked with anything you need. Fresh eggs available too!
Shanti has great activities for kids and my daughter loved feeding the horses.

Shanti’s tent was amazing! Views from the land were incredible, and it was very quiet at night. The shower was great and hot, bathroom was clean and kitchen was fully stocked. The bed was warm and comfortable, and the tent was clean and cozy. Other sites were close by but they weren’t a bother.

The clamping tent was SO COZY! So warm when the nights were cold! The property itself is absolutely beautiful! Shanti is so welcoming and so helpful! She helped make our long weekend trip as fulfilling as it could get! She hooked us up with awesome hiking spots, the best coffee shop and gave us all the info we needed to know to get the most out of our short time there! If I ever visit Utah/Arizona again I will 💯 stay at Land beyond Zion again!!❤️❤️

Peaceful stay, happy host
Land beyond Zion is a super peaceful nice place. Shanti is a GREAT host and it looks like the place has been built with a lot of love. It is in my perspective, better for tents than RVs. Not all the spots have both water and power hookups so I would just make sure that you confirm that during the booking. Even in it has Zion in the name, it is still about 1 hr to the park. Those are the o Ly two things that were not great here. The rest, I would highly recommend and I would stay again there happily.

Shanti was awesome, and the camp to
Land Beyond Zion was great! We stayed in our own tent on one of the platforms the first night, when it was below 30, and being raised off the ground definitely helped to stay warm. For the second two nights, we asked Shanti if we could pay a little more and switch to the glamping tent because of the weather. Shanti was very responsive, and the glamping tent was awesome! The heater and heated mattresses were AMAZING after a night in the freezing cold.
There is both an outdoor and indoor kitchenette, but the outdoor pipes we broken due to the cold. That being said, the indoor kitchenette had everything we needed (sink, microwave, kettle, portable stove, pot and pan, plates, utensils). The bathroom had a heater and a real toilet, which was epic compared to most small campsites.
Overall, the campsite was wonderful and Shanti was so kind, responsive, and accommodating. The scenery was also beautiful. Would definitely recommend!

Shanti is the absolute best host we’ve had and a gem of a person! She is extremely knowledgeable about the area and what hikes to take but also treats you like family. The camp layout is great and it’s centrally located to all the great National parks and hidden gems. You cannot go wrong staying here :)

Love!!!
We absolutely loved our stay at land beyond zion! Shanti was incredibly helpful and friendly during our stay. All of the amenities we could’ve wanted were available to us- the community kitchen, fire pit, camping chairs, heated bathroom/shower, hammocks, great wifi, and games. It was about 1 hour 15 mins from the visitors center and about a 5 minute drive from a grocery store and gas. Although some of the campsites are close together, we were able to have some privacy tucked away in the back. We loved hearing about all the work and effort she has been putting into this land and can’t wait to come back next year to enjoy it all again!! :)
