Dark Sky Location with 360 degree views of mountains. Four wheel drive vehicle recommended. This is a primitive camping opportunity, tucked away in the Red Lake dry lake bed area, backed up to the Hualapai Indian Reservation and the Grand Canyon with spectacular views of the sunset. Forty five minutes to Kingman or the West Rim. Three local winery’s, open range cattle ranches and a dark sky observatory surround this beautiful location.Dark Sky Primitive Camping is just that. This is a 2.51 acre square of dirt. There is a fire pit and a cleared area to pitch a tent or park an RV. No Amenities, please pack in and pack out, leave no trace. This location is a minimum of 13 miles of dirt road from historical Route 66 onto Antares Rd which is county maintained. The last 1.9 miles is a single lane, dirt, soft silt, and gravel road that would be best traversed in a four wheel drive vehicle (I do have a local contact for tow assistance if for some reason you do get stuck after paying). Closest amenities are in Dolan Springs which is also over twenty miles of dirt road to Pierce Ferry road and Antares, second Chevron headed into Meadview. Open range cattle and no fence. Some of the most beautiful sunsets, sunrises, and amazing views of the stars with a panoramic view of mountains. Three local wineries and close to Grand Canyon west, South cove, and Willow Beach along the mighty Colorado River. Two and a half hours away from the hustle and bustle of Vegas!

Dark Sky Primitive Camping is just that. This is a 2.51 acre square of dirt. There is a fire pit and a cleared area to pitch a tent or park an RV.
