Experience nature and serenity without having to rough it with this true glamping experience. Located on 15 acres, just 30 minutes from the Grand Canyon. Expansive wide-open views with the beautiful San Francisco Mountain Range in the distance. Enjoy the stunning display the Milky Way puts on at night with no light pollution. A great place to start and end your day of Grand Canyon adventuring. The property is located 1.5 miles off the highway down a dirt road. The road is bumpy but very drivable with a 2WD car when the road is dry. When mud or snow exists, 4WD is required. If you're unsure of expected conditions, check with us in advance.Indoor bathroom! Hot water! And now AC! Enjoy stunning high desert views without sacrificing comfort. Everything you need for a fantastic stay is provided in our sustainably designed off-grid tiny house: -Kitchen includes small fridge (with freezer), regular size sink, single burner stove, coffee machine (Nespresso, Keurig, regular drip), dishes, glasses, utensils, cookware, etc. As well as an outdoor gas bbq for grilling; -Full bathroom inside the house with hot shower (soap and shampoo provided), cotton towels, hair dryer and conventional flush toilet; -Queen-size Nectar bed, full-size pullout couch, cotton bedding and extra blankets; -Ducted heating for cold nights; -Firepit (available when fires are allowed) and chairs to enjoy the outdoors. -Starlink high-speed internet free of charge, which usually tops at 62 Mbps down and 7 Mbps up. -Some board games and reading materials provided. The entire 15 acres is only shared by the camp host (when present). You'll have plenty of privacy and serenity to enjoy the unique high desert landscape and unbelievable starry nights. We are on a prairie facing the San Francisco mountain range. The open landscape gives you true 360-degree views. The house was designed with sustainability and comfort in mind. It is incredibly energy efficient. The gorgeous picture windows allow you to enjoy nature but do not heat up the house as much as traditional windows do. The house does not get too hot in the summer or too cold in the winter. Electricity is provided by solar power. Water is plumbed but we haul water here so please keep water usage reasonable. Please note that we are at 6,000 feet so nights are cool and weather can be unpredictable. Bring layers if you want to enjoy the outdoors after sunset. Check with us in advance if you are worried about road conditions. The road from the highway is bumpy but drivable with 2WD. 4WD may be required if roads are too wet.
