It's a total dump. The Host won't be there to greet you... better look under the abandoned shitty trailer there for any type of hookups you need, because she will not refund you if you can't find the thing they were obligated to provide. This lady is terrible.

What can I say about this slice of 💩 pie? It was dark, it was filthy, it was covered in trash. It was scary and overrun with stray dogs(actually that part wasn’t that bad); but I’m giving it a 3.5 out of 10. I split the difference between my wife’s 4 and my 3. To top it off communication was terrible. We only stayed 1 out of 3 nights booked.

The property is in ruins and full of dog feces. Pictures in listing are, obviously and painfully, from 5-10 years ago. This listing is 100% OPPOSITE REALITY, and should be banned.

I wanted a quick weekend getaway from the city to get some quiet rest and this place definitely delivered. Good option to consider instead of other established campgrounds. The choice you need to consider is whether you want amenities or calm and quiet. If it's the calm and quiet, then definitely consider this. The host is also very nice and helpful!

Says it's full hook ups, but we got a hose and a 120 extension cord that and trip the breaker of we did more than charge a cell phone... it was like 100° and we couldn't use ac.... we left two days before our reservation ended..

Carla was a gracious host. It was a quiet and peaceful stay. The mountains are on one side and at night you can watch the stars. Truly a peaceful delight. We enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Desert Breezes was a perfect spot for us to stay for three nights. We traveled by a f350 truck with a camper on the truckbed. All we needed was a level ground to park on. We got that and more: beautiful sunrises and sunsets, walks on the rural sand/clay roads, relative rural quiet, water hookup, and kind hosts- Carla and her daughter.
We were self-contained and did not need/use the rustic outdoor bathroom amenities.
When we visited, there were no animals except for two small dogs.

We loved camping here! My kid is autistic and he had a ball! It was so much open land for him to run and play. He loved seeing all the pigs and really enjoyed the tree house!! Wonderful views! Would definitely come back

Carl and her family are amazing. Her quiet place just outside of Phenix is open and safe. She has areas inside her fence are if you want, or you can park at a distance outside the fence. She offers her backyard as an extra space to hang out, have a campfire or just chill at the picnic table. Other hipcampers staying there were super friendly and helpful, too. I would stay here again, for sure.

Carla was so gracious, I was late and forgot about the time change between CA and AZ making it later but she was so kind, showing us around even though it was late. We were going to the NASCAR races so weren’t around to hang out during the day. Had a great place to set up our tent, under a big tree, and woke up to bird song. Her dogs are adorbs and got to see the pigs and young pigs, very cute as well! Was so glad to have a flush toilet as well!

Very friendly and accommodating. Extremely peaceful with gorgeous sunsets. Amenities (Restaurant and Store) are within a couple miles. A new baby potbelly arrived yesterday that is an awesome addition to Desert Breezes! I recommend.

My friends and I are avid campers. We booked a stay at Desert Breezes for March 10 - 12. Upon arrival, We quickly discovered that the hosts' ad and pictures were grossly misrepresented. The "common area" is unsafe with broken wood, unworking appliances and window air condition units scattered about. The property has a large amount of full black garbage bags on the ground. The shower/toilet area is dirty and falling down. The entire place appears to be that of a hoarder with no obvious camping spots. The RV that the ad claims is available for use if needed; is filled above the windows inside with garbage.
The drive to the property, once off of the main road, is unmarked. No signs identifying Desert Breezes. We missed it twice (praying this was not the place). The "Gate Code" is actually for a bicycle barrel & cable lock they use to lock the gate, which is falling down.
The host was not very kind when I advised her that we would not be staying and was going to ask for a full refund. I took pictured until it became obvious that it was making the host unhappy.
We Do NOT recommend this property.

Carla is so sweet, my dog and I loved our month-long stay at her property. Beautiful sunsets, great area to explore, lots of flora. And two sets of piglets were born while I was here!! It was a fun slice of farm life in the desert. 10/10 would stay again.

Carla was very kind and welcoming! The nights are beautiful there. The outdoor shower was quite nice. She is a woman with a vision, if we make it back to AZ we will stop there again!

Carla was a great host. The area was clean and there are full hook ups for one (110 watts, water and sewer.) It could be branched if needed. Our 39" Toy Hauler fit with room to maneuver. We will stay again. Thank you!

We had a wonderful time at Carla's place. We had some electrical issues and were heading to Phoenix to get it checked out. We spent the weekend there as it was on our way. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets, fed baby goats, and sampled fresh duck eggs. Plus Carla is super friendly and hospitable, we enjoyed a dinner with her one night in her backyard.

Remote and very rustic, this is a working farm with goats, pigs, chickens and all that goes with them. Carla is a kind and gracious host. Had to leave early because of an allergic reaction to the goats and dust.

The Host, Carla, was very friendly. Greeted us as soon as we arrived and showed us around the property. All of the animals, goats, pigs, ducks and chickens, were running up to greet us also. Once we had camp setup we explored the dirt roads across the street from the property in my friend's 4WD truck. Great area for 4WDs, ATVs and UTVs.
A lot of parking available. There's even a foosball table in the common area near the fire pit.
