Tucson's 5-acre China Cabinet Ranch has desert and mountain views and is adjacent to Saguaro National Park's Tucson Mountains, only 9 miles from exit 248 off I-10. We have one site with full hookups and 3 others and offer a Two-Hour Equine Experience. Located in the Sonoran Desert, you'll see cacti, javelina, coyotes, rattlesnakes, jackrabbits, deer, and other critters. Because there is a dog and horse on the property, all guests must sign a standard liability waiver, and no tent camping or children under 12 are allowed. Your host is a retired Spanish teacher, a Certified Tucson Ambassador (ie. tour guide), and works part-time with horses. Laura is a Certified Tucson Ambassador. She enjoys sharing the "Old Pueblo" with travelers and has many suggestions on things to do after living here for over 40 years.

CCR Site 3 w/o Hookups Near Corrals

Great camping experience

We had a great time at the China Cabinet Ranch! We arrived during daylight after a 20 minute drive through Saguaro National Park. The campsite was excellent with beautiful views of mountains behind Laura’s home. There was a fire pit, and even though it was warm, we still roasted marshmallows and watched the incredible night sky! Laura recommended the Desert Museum which was well worth it, especially learning about the cacti and animals of the area. Laura was a gracious host and we enjoyed visiting with her. Two thumbs up!!
