Beaver Creek Oasis offers a charming and beautiful camping experience with plenty of positive feedback from visitors. The campsite is well-loved for its natural beauty, privacy, and welcoming hosts, Laura and Bruce. Campers appreciate the clean facilities, including a flushing toilet and rustic shower, as well as the opportunity to interact with adorable farm animals like alpacas and goats. While some reviews mention the proximity to I-17 and occasional highway noise, the overall atmosphere remains peaceful and enjoyable.
Laura and Bruce are good/kind people. They went above and beyond to make sure my dog, River, and I were taken care of during the flood warning and heavy winds. If our travels bring us this way again, we would happily stay again. If you're traveling solo, you will feel very safe on their property.
We had such a great time at the camp. Lovely hosts, nice and big area. Everything what we could need for a stay with a toddler. Nice to have an opportiunity to see the farm animals. This is one of those places which you call cute and magical and you wanna come back.
This spot couldn't have been more perfect. As a female traveling solo I felt very safe and also remote which is the perfect combination I'm always on the hunt for. Laura was so welcoming and the area is gorgeous and peaceful. Highly recommend.
We only spent one night at Beaver Creek Oasis, but it was lovely being able to pitch our tents under the towering sycamores and take a short walk to Beaver Creek itself. Plus, Laura has the most adorable dogs and rescue alpacas and goats.
The availability of a flush toilet and sink make for true glamping (it looks like an outhouse because the structure is so small, but it's fully plumbed inside). The stone shower structure is located about a hundred yards in the other direction -- just be careful of spiders!
Also note that you can still hear traffic on I-17, so it isn't fully remote, but the lights are still dim enough for stargazing.
This is a great location with an amazing host. The property was easy to navigate, peaceful and everything we wanted for our trip. It was close to Sedona and Jerome making it an ideal spot for base camp as we adventured.
The goats and Alpacas were so cool and the fresh eggs we purchased were incredible.
Thank you!
Wonderful hosts and beautiful property! Lots of space, private, and some shade. Hosts were very attentive and super welcoming. We would highly recommend!
We thoroughly appreciated the location provided, particularly its secure, fenced perimeter, which allowed our dogs to roam freely and safely off-leash. The presence of the shower house and the freestanding toilet facility significantly enhanced our experience, elevating our camping trip to a glamping experience. Furthermore, the freshly gathered eggs provided by the host were a delightful addition.
What a gem! Laura was so welcoming and helpful. The property is beautiful, with a flushing toilet and sweet shower! Just a short walk to a dreamy stream that my dogs and I enjoyed very much. I will be back again for sure!!!
Laura answered my phone call after I found her place on The Dyrt app. She met us after we found the property, which was straight forward except that the address provided was for the house on the other side of the street. She showed us the campsite, which wasn’t spacious, shaded by a large sycamore, and safe-feeling, being surrounded by a chainlink fence. She also sold us some large brown fresh eggs and told us where we could go for a swim in the creek! All-around great experience, but my favorite thing was probably the rustic stone shower building containing a shower with ample pressure…try not to waste water though! We didn’t see the alpacas or that would have probably been my favorite.
We really enjoyed camping here! Laura was so sweet and welcoming. The land was so well kept the creek was so peaceful. We took our chairs down to the creek and just enjoyed the sound of the running water over our feet. Everything was peaceful and the animals were adorable.
Laura's land is beautiful. Between the walk down to the river to the rock house shower, the site if really cool. I was a fairly late reservation and Laura was great in her communication and hospitalities. Highly recommended.
I had a wonderful two-night stay in the field with mv dog. We were so happy and enioyed every moment. Thank you very much to the owner for generously giving us so many fresh eggs. enjoyed them a lot.
Thank you
Laura was quick to respond to my questions.
The bathroom and shower house are wonderful!
Go slow with all water, you are in a desert. The hot water will run out. Do not expect a long shower.
We had a great weekend camping at Beaver Creek Oasis. Convenient to Sedona and the interstate, but still quiet and peaceful. Enjoyed the creek and the toilet and shower was greatly appreciated. Thanks for showing us your animals too!
Our group of 4 had a wonderful time camping on Laura’s land. We even got to feed the alpacas on her short farm tour. The site was close enough from the freeway for easy access but far enough to enjoy the outdoors in peace. I would def consider going back for a private getaway.
This truly is an oasis and an unexpected gem located near tons of natural and cultural sites. The land is beautiful and a birding paradise. The hosts were wonderfully kind and responsive. This will definitely be a repeat visit for me. *Fair warning: the road to the property is rough. Passable without 4x4 but not for low-clearance cars.
Beautiful space right near a river. Very quiet and calm. Enjoyed all of the different bird species in the area. Laura is a wonderful host and our stay was super comfortable. With multiple sites, we'll definitely be visiting again.
Fantastic camping with clean flush toilet and cool shower area. Friendly and helpful hosts. It doesn’t get any better than this. Great location if you are visiting Fossil Creek or passing through to Sedona or Grand Canyon.
The area was beautiful! Laura was very kind and accommodating. She has cute dogs and alpacas we enjoyed meeting. The creek is nearby and easy to find. We will come again!
Laura was communicative and very hospitable. She greeted us when we arrived, explained where everything was, and even lent us camping chairs, because we didn’t have any. Her land was beautiful, and it was super special getting to meet and learn about her alpacas—definitely worth going off the beaten path for!
We stayed at Laura‘s place for a night between Sedona and Prescott. We had a flat spot in an open field with access to a clean bathroom and shower (separate buildings) and a nice, short walk down to the creek. We really enjoyed visiting with Laura and getting recommendations from a local!
