Side by side rentals available. For details message me. This is a privately owned canyon and city surrounded by Tonto National Forest. This canyon has been locked away from the public silence 1945. The canyon contains Ash Creek, camping areas, the ghost town of Chrysotile, and many natural wonders. You can be one of the first people to enter the canyon in almost 100 years. According to Fish and Game this area has the most native plants and animals in Arizona. Come see what Arizona was like before it was settled.

Site #1 - Hidden Meadow

100% (4)
RV/tent site · Sleeps 6 · Vehicles under 30 ft
Site #1 is at the end of the road past the farm house and farm field. You must cross the creak and enter into a meadow surrounded by trees, steep canyon walls, and a running creak. This is the area closest to my favorite swimming hole. As you walk upstream it feels like you have entered a fairly tail and after a few hundred yards you will find your new favorite area to swim in Arizona. The creek after this area runs on bedrock and has smalls pool. The golden eagles that live in the canyon hunt and nest on the rock walls there.

RV/tent site · Sleeps 6 · Vehicles under 20 ft
Site #12 is one of the most beautiful locations in Ash Creek Canyon. You will never want to leave. There is a steep road to access the high road. Once you reach the top there is a winding mountain road to access the site. This is not a location to bring a trailer.

Site #10 is the highest point in the canyon without going in the high road. From this location you can camp looking over everything but still feeling secluded. The is a small old stack stone structure right before the clearing.

Site #11 - Mountain Top

RV/tent site · Sleeps 6 · Vehicles under 20 ft
Site #11 is approximately 1/4 higher in elevation than the lower camp sites. There is a steeper road to access it. This is not a good place to bring a trailer. You will have very beautiful views of the entire canyon and this is a great place to star gaze.

Site #7 - Twin Waterfall Overlook

Booked 1 time
RV/tent site · Sleeps 6 · Vehicles under 30 ft
Site #7 is the flat peninsula that over looks the twin waterfalls and largest swimming area of the canyon. It is the trail head to walk to the creak bottom, the base of the waterfalls, and swimming access. This trail is a few hundred yards long. You can walk along the bottom and see a canyon as beautiful as any in Arizona. You will be amazed at what you will see!
