Nash Bayfront Campground is a family-owned and operated destination in Seward, Alaska, proudly situated at the head of Resurrection Bay. The campground occupies a historic property that has been in the family for generations—once the site of a working sawmill. What began as a private camping spot for family and friends has evolved into a welcoming retreat shared with visitors from around the world. Spanning nearly 8 acres of thoughtfully developed camping and rental cabin space, the property offers breathtaking 360-degree panoramic views encompassing majestic mountains, the charming City of Seward, the bustling boat harbor, and the expansive waters of Resurrection Bay. Adjacent wetlands teem with diverse wildlife, including swans, ducks, eagles, river otters, moose, coyotes, and occasionally brown and black bears, providing guests with an authentic Alaskan wilderness experience right at their doorstep. Prime fishing opportunities abound, with several salmon creeks directly adjacent to the property offering excellent access to salmon runs, as well as dip-netting for Hooligan. Nash Bayfront Campground offers a variety of campsites to suit RVs, Tents, and Trailers. Choose from Water/Electric sites, Electric only sites, or Dry camping sites – all with fire pits, picnic tables, and direct access to fishing trails. Tent campers are welcome at any site. Spacious layouts make every site a great choice. Cabins comfortably sleep 4 guests with private bath and a full kitchen with all the essentials . Cabin was built a few feet from a creek, and a couple hundred feet from a salmon stream. A 3-minute hike takes you to the beach, which offers fishing and more wildlife viewing. This cabin sleeps 4 comfortably: custom-made Alaskan log queen-size bed, and a spacious king-size fold out couch (all linens and spare blankets provided). Kitchen has custom-made table and stools and is fully stocked with all the essentials (fridge, stove/oven, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, teapot, pots/pans, dishes, silverware). Bathroom has adjustable height shower head (towels and essentials provided). The living space is extended outdoors with a private viewing deck with chairs, picnic table, fire ring with camping chairs, and a propane grill. Enjoy the natural surroundings from your own peaceful, well-appointed cabin retreat. The outdoor space provides everything needed for a relaxed, self-contained stay with breathtaking views. Hooligan Cabin at Nash Bayfront Campground is a 1-room cabin with a Twin-size bunk bed (linens provided) that comfortably sleeps 2 guests. The cabin includes electricity (including USB), interior lights, blackout curtains, small dining table and 2 chairs, small fridge, and microwave. Well insulated and warm. Electric heater provided for additional comfort. Outside amenities include a picnic table, fire ring and camping chairs, and a propane grill. There is NO interior water, nor a bathroom in this cabin. Porta Potties and a shower house are available nearby. Guests are just a short walk to the beach at the head of Resurrection Bay, which offers one of the area’s most popular salmon fishing spots, with several salmon creeks directly adjacent to the property offering excellent access to salmon runs, as well as dip-netting for Hooligan.
