Orca Island Cabins is a remote, off-the-grid property in scenic Resurrection Bay, located 9 miles southeast of Seward, Alaska. Owned and Operated by lifelong Alaskan Jonah Swiderski and his wife Yen Ly. Orca Island Cabins invites you to enjoy comfortable and stylish overnight accommodations in yurt cabins with Alaska wildlife and marine life right outside your cabin door. Enjoy the best in Alaska whale watching, kayaking, fishing and hiking or just sit back, relax and observe scenic views and wildlife from your private deck – a very special Alaska experience.Our Alaska yurt cabins on Orca Island are “glamping” (glamorous camping) at its best! Each of our 8 yurts sleeps 2 to 4 persons with a queen bed and a futon. Linens are provided, including pillows, blankets and comforters. Our eco-friendly Alaskan yurts have solar power and each features a kitchen with propane oven and stove, a complete set of dishes and basic cookware, a dining and comfortable living area, propane fireplace, private bathroom with hot shower and compost toilet, and a large private deck with barbecue grill. We have a wide array of watercraft for guests to use during their stay, including sea kayaks, stand-up-paddleboards, fishing equipment, snorkeling gear and more. This is all included with your stay. To reach Orca Island Cabins, meet our crew in the small boat harbor in Seward at 12:30pm and board our private boat for a 1-hour ride across Resurrection Bay. On your check-out day, the boat will leave the Island at 10:00am. This boat is included in your stay. Guests are required to bring all food for the entire duration of their stay. Drinking water is available on the Island.

Our Alaska yurt cabins on Orca Island are “glamping” (glamorous camping) at its best! Each of our 8 yurts sleeps 2 to 4 persons with a queen bed and a futon.
