Our property offers privacy for campers with a nice stream running through. We are near the Willow airport and the tracks for the Alaska scenic train, we do experience 2-3 short bursts of train noise (30 seconds- 3 minutes) a couple times a day. Overall, it's a very relaxing spot to enjoy nature My wife Kacie and I purchased this land in 2021 with the goal of creating a place where our family and others could enjoy nature while traveling through Alaska.Welcome to Opted Out Acre Campground! 1.25 acres in the heart of Willow, AK with a small babbling creek and tons of birch trees. The sites have a gravel parking area and electric hook up, garbage cans and a water fill station is available on site. There is also a shower house with a toilet and hot water shower. Coming to fish? We can help vacuum seal and freeze your catch in our dedicated fish freezer! Train enthusiasts will love watching the passenger trains that cruise by. Just minutes from downtown Willow and a perfect stopping point between Anchorage and Denali.

Creekside Campground in Willow, AK

Jeff and his family are very welcoming and accommodating. We have a larger 5th wheel and fit in perfectly. Many amenities such as a screened gazebo, fire pit, smoker and picnic tables. A short trail as well as a path to the creek that runs through the back of the property. A lot of potential for this property as they are adding utility’s to expand. A perfect spot to serve as a home base to visit Hatchers Pass, Wasilla and Palmer. Highly recommend.

Great Location, Great Hosts

Jeff was very accommodating for my larger setup and attentive to any questions and requests I made. If you use Starlink, there is not a good spot for it, but the cell service is good and I was able to work remotely off hot spotting. I would definitely stay at this spot again.

Great place to stay in Willow!

Totally awesome all around! Jeff and his wife were so nice and helpful! Nice piece of land in quiet neighborhood in the woods. There is the train track close by where you can wave to the passengers going up to Denali or Fairbanks! The property is less than a mile from the west entrance to Hatcher's Pass with lots of hiking! I stayed for a whole month visiting family and never had any issues. Even my dog Ruby loved it there!
