Nestled in the quiet community of Fishhook, this open and scenic property offers the perfect place to relax, recharge, and explore some of the Mat-Su Valley’s most beautiful outdoor country. Set just below the rugged peaks and alpine terrain of Hatcher Pass, our spot gives campers easy access to year-round adventure while still offering a peaceful place to settle in at the end of the day. Spend your visit hiking mountain trails, riding ATVs, fishing nearby waters, biking scenic roads and trails, berry picking in season, or simply soaking in the wide-open Alaska views. In the winter, enjoy close access to skiing, snowmachining, snowboarding, snowshoeing, and other cold-weather adventures. Skeetawk Ski Area is only about 10 minutes away, making this a great stay for skiers and riders looking for a convenient launch point. Whether you are chasing adventure, planning a quiet weekend under the midnight sun, or looking for a memorable stop on your Alaska travels, this Fishhook getaway offers a welcoming place to camp, breathe deep, and enjoy the beauty of the mountains.
