Drive Up Campsite
We really enjoyed our night at Wild Violet Gardens. It's a cozy field, the golden rod were in bloom when we were there, and the hosts were very nice. Their flush vermicompost toilet in the geodesic dome is also very ingenious and surprisingly charming!

Lovely spot
Our host was kind and informative! Wonderful land with lots of potential. Beautiful tall grass- I do wish there were more walkable paths so we were able to walk down and see the creek but unfortunately we missed out on that. Flushable toilet would work better with a better hose but I’m glad there was a flushable toilet at all! A tent that is already set up and ready for sleeping is definitely a plus after driving a long way. Although the spot was convenient, you can very clearly hear the loud highway while trying to sleep which was also a bit scary for the little ones. Nevertheless, A great spot definitely going to add to favorites!

Lovely host.
This place was a hidden nook in nature and yet close to grab gas and get back on the road. Danielle was very responsive and kind. Flushing toilet was a plus! Wild violets and other wild flowers were pretty. It was a convenient place to spend the night while passing through the Birmingham area. There is a lot of creativity on this property and in the camp spot.
