🌿 About Turtle Pond RV & Farm Unwind on a quiet, family-operated farm just minutes from downtown Arab, Alabama. Turtle Pond RV is a peaceful, cozy 18-spot retreat situated near the 2-acre pond on our active homestead, which features a 5-acre polyculture orchard and market garden. Wake up to the sounds of nature, fall asleep to a chorus of frogs, and experience true farm-to-table living with first dibs on our fresh free-range eggs and seasonal U-pick produce. To protect the privacy and serenity of our guests, we operate strictly by reservation—no surprise walk-ins! Whether you are passing through North Alabama or looking for a long-term base camp, you will find plenty of room to breathe without feeling "sardined" in. 🏕️ The Space & Sites Our spacious, back-in RV sites feature level gravel pads separated by native privacy gardens. Each site is fully equipped for modern self-contained rigs. • Full Hook-ups: Dedicated water, septic, and electric (50/30/20 Amp) at every site. • Connectivity: Best-effort high-speed Wi-Fi to keep you connected while off the beaten path. • Note on Facilities: We do not have a public bathhouse or public laundry facilities on-site (laundry is just 3 miles down the road). Rigs must be self-contained, though two portable toilets are available on the grounds. 🐾 Amenities & Farm Features • Two-Acre Pond: Enjoy scenic wildlife while walking along the banks. Our pond frequently hosts a variety of birds, turtles, frogs, snakes, and (and fish, but we’re not stocked for fishing). Please wear close-toed shoes, and do not attempt to pet the wildlife! • Dog Park: Bring your furry friends! We have a spacious, fully fenced dog park with double-entry safety gates for off-leash play. Rig suitability

Vehicles under 70 feet allowed

Each site has at least 70 ft length to accommodate a tow vehicle, an RV, and one additional vehicle.

Allowed rigs: travel trailers, fifth wheels, toy haulers, pop-up campers, class A RVs, class B RVs, class C RVs, campervans, cars, truck campers, and rooftop tents

Back-in site

After checking in with office, campers will drive to back of RV park to turn around, and then back into large packed gravel pads. Pads are approximately 16 ft wide.

On leash. Off leash: Large fenced in dog play area with two double gated entry zones and water access. Clean up after your pet promptly. Bagged pet waste can be placed in trashcan or in dumpster.
