Due to a family emergency I did not stay at this location. I messaged the owner the morning I was supposed to arrive and let her know. She responded right away and suggested I cancel on the app. I never found the option since it was past the time frame allowed. I look forward to rescheduling a stay as soon I am able.

This was our 2nd time staying at Sunset and it did Not disappoint!! We had so much fun with all of the animals and checking out the gardens! Crystal and her husband are the most wonderful hosts! 100% recommend!

Tent camping at Crystal’s beautiful little farm was just right for me as a woman traveling alone. The camping area was very private and at the back of the property but felt safe and secure because Crystal and her charming husband live at the front of the property and anyone coming in has to pass right close to their house. Mr Crystal patiently guided me to a trail for hiking behind the property and I had a short hike through some stunningly beautiful woods and meadows before sundown. Sunset was gorgeous. I could see it through the trees from my tent. Kids will definitely enjoy the friendly and adorable animals.

Sunset Hill Farm was great - exactly as advertised! The hosts were very nice, informative, and accommodating. All the animals were interactive and the field provided for camping is large, set back away from the main house/off the road, and has a huge fire pit. 10/10 would definitely camp there again/recommend others camp there!

This was a great overnight spot. Beautiful property and the host was really awesome! A little tricky for a large rig like ours on turning around but he was very helpful in getting us turned around.

Just the most wonderful spot. Truly one of my favorite hipcamp locations of all time- very grateful for the hospitality. The animals are so so sweet, I wish I could have stayed a full week- I hope to be back very soon =)

We had an amazing time at Sunset Hill Farm and highly recommend. It is a nice, private camp site with a great firepit, useful table, and a good spot to set up your tent. We strongly recommend buying a dozen eggs and taking the tour. The goats and mini horses are very friendly and love to be petted.
The hosts were wonderful. Crystal gave us great directions, responds quickly to messages us, greeted us when pulled in, and is a great host.
We had a nice, peaceful, relaxing wekend and will definitely be back.
And if you are questioning the composting toilet, don't, it's not bad at all.

As soon as my husband and I saw this listing, we knew that it would be a beautiful oasis escape from the city! When we arrived, we saw that this hilltop farm is magical! The hosts are wonderful wonderful people who love sharing space that they love! We will definitely be going there again!

The Farm was awesome!
All of the animals were extremely friendly and after traveling alone for so long it was awesome to have such accepted and open conversations about the farm and how to homestead.

Crystal and Jake are awesome hosts! We arrived quite a bit later than planned- but they patiently waited up for us. In the morning we hung out with their BABY GOATS (!!!!), met the guard donkey Jack, and went for a lovely little walk on their land.

My boyfriend and I decided to take a road trip with zero plans, but we figured we would probably like to camp at some point and brought all of our basic gear. I was googling around for camp sites and found Crystal's little goat farm on our route and holy cow we're so glad we did! They had me at "goats" ... Crystal messaged us back quick and accepted our request. Her and her husband were super nice and accommodating even though we got there later than we wanted - the site was clear and quiet and we got a fun tour of all the animals in the morning! We're now inspired to try and set up camp sites on our own property back home because it was just too fun! Thanks guys!!

I stopped at Crystal’s Homestead to camp on my way to the Carolinas and it was absolutely wonderful! I wish I had gotten there earlier to spend more time petting the goats, they were THE cutest things I’ve ever seen. My favorite was Violet, the little black goat, she was such a total sweetheart. This was my first time to camp completely by myself and I was nervous before arriving. But as soon as I got to the farm I was welcomed so warmly and introduced to all of the animals. I was going to start a fire but felt too lazy to mess with it after driving 9 hours so I decided to just stargaze in silence instead and it was truly MAGICAL! I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many stars, it was so peaceful and listening to the birds and bugs in the trees was so relaxing. I felt extremely safe and woke up feeling recharged. This is a beautiful homestead and I would highly recommend it to animal loving campers. There were some ants in the grass but it wasn’t an issue, and I was fully expecting mosquitoes but there were none, so that was definitely an added perk!

Sunset Hill Farm Rv camping
Crystal and her husband are wonderful people with a beautiful homestead! We got in late, but the morning after we got in they took the time out to show myself and our two kids their chickens, peacocks, goats and all the baby animals! It was an awesome experience! The compost outhouse is really nice touch too! Very clean and comfortable to use.

We wanted to get away for a quick night with our kids before school started back and Homestead Farm was such a great place for us to do so! After a farm tour where we were introduced to goats, chickens, and baby peacocks we setup a campfire and roasting hot dogs and made s'mores. As the sun set, we watched lighting bugs twinkle around our site and the laid out on a mat and watched the stars. We would definitely recommend a stay here to get out of the city and get away!

This place is wonderful! The goats and chickens will put a smile on your face.. guaranteed! We had electric and we’re were offered water but we didn’t need it. We spent one night. Crystal and her husband were gracious hosts. We got a tour and playtime with the many precious goats and beautiful chickens. Close to the freeway. Great spot!

We really enjoyed our stay here! My husband has to use a CPAP when sleeping and the hosts were very accommodating in helping us find a site near an electric outlet. The outhouse was neat and clean, there was even a lantern and mirror available for use. The animals were super cool. The goats were friendly and I loved waking up to the sound of the roosters crowing.

We had a great time at this farm.
This is just a little bit off the highway, and made for a great stop on a long trip. The town of Jasper is nearby, and has a cute little downtown area with some restaurants and breweries.
Our spot in the back field was adjacent to the woods and far from the main house and barn. Very quiet, peaceful, and private.
It rained on us so we didn't get to play with the goats too much. Crystal gave us a nice tour of the animals and the barn when we arrived.
Don't skip the eggs! The farm-fresh eggs are delicious and have great variations in shell color.

The goats are just awesome. More important the site was large flat and private with a nice fire pit area, outdoor table and chairs, and a super clean composting toilet. Crystal and her husband were extremely hospitable and patient with our 2 kids. They have a bunch of goats and chickens and peacocks. It was a great overnight stay for us.
