The site is wonderful with a beautiful view of the lake and your own private pier on the water. The owners happened to be next door during our stay and they introduced themselves and told us to send a message if there were any issues or questions. We didn’t have any but really appreciated their hospitality. We had to cut our trip short due to weather, but would definitely be interested in staying at this spot again in the future.

We had the most relaxing 3 days at Shannon’s site with 4 adults and 3 kids (10, 8, & 1.5). We spent hours fishing. My eight year old caught 9 bluegills and we observed the real pros catching bass. The huge dock was perfection! You could find us either floating from it or jumping off it during most daylight. All hookups worked like a charm. We will definitely make a plan to return.

We absolutely loved our long weekend getaway at Strattanooga! Shannon and her family are the best hosts and their place is absolutely amazing! Meticulously well maintained, easy hookups, and a nice level spot. Breathtaking views of the lake and an easy walk down to the private dock make this one of the best sites we've ever stayed in!
I can't recommend this amazing spot enough. We can't wait to come back sometime soon!

Beautiful private site on deep water with a large dock. It is a bit of a climb up and down the lot from the campsite to the water but doable with the stairs they have built.

I love the location and space to run. The only thing you need to be prepared for is ANTS. We battled serious ants on both the camper and vehicle.
But you gain a lake. Full set up. A lot of shade. Clean area of trash.

All of the reviews are spot on. The spot is amazing. The surrounding town is awesome. The vibe on the water is good. We had mostly overcast and raining weather but in late July the drop in temps were welcomed and the way the property is set up we were still able to enjoy being outside mostly all weekend. The exit heading out is intimidating but looks steeper than it really is. I put it in 4 wheel drive just for precaution since it is gravel (packed pretty well) and I am not sure if ai even needed to. Pulling a 22ft travel trailer with a 2024 Ram 1500. Shannon, the host, was super responsive. Very nice lady. They should be proud of what they’ve created there for people to enjoy.

Really nice spot. Very clean and well kept. The walk down to the water isn’t bad at all. This would be a great spot if you had kids and wanted access to a clean and safe swimming spot. Shannon and her family were so nice and accommodating. One thing to note, and for most people this won’t be an issue, but there are some neighborhood dogs (very friendly just nosy) that roam around and we have two sweet, but moderately reactive and territorial German Shepherds so it was a bit difficult for us to keep them settled due to them seeing dogs roaming around. That being said we let Shannon know we were having issues with the dogs coming around our camp and she did everything she possibly could to help us out. So again, not a negative on the site at all! Just an FYI. I highly recommend this spot and Shannon and her family are amazing hosts.

Beautiful lake lot! We couldn’t have asked for a better trip. Reading the reviews definitely helped prepare us . While it is a steep walk down to the water it is do able with the right shoes. The location is perfect & just a short drive to restaurants/grocery stores. There is a wonderful water park just minutes down the road that our kids loved. We definitely will be back soon. Shannon is an amazing host, going above for her guest.

Beautiful site! View was great. Access to the water was easy and nice, the site was spacious , hookups were easy and well maintained., and overall a great spot! Only negative at all= no trash receptacle. Everything else was amazing!!

The view was beautiful. The hookups were fine. The site was clean. Overall we had a decent time. My only complaint was what I can only assume was a neighbor who when I first got there was using the hookups and then was constantly doing work around the campsite on the adjacent buildings and with us having a small child there in the fella not saying anything to us the whole time and just kind of staring at us at random intervals we had kind of mixed feelings about the situation. I would recommend the site though and definitely think it's a great place to stay.

We loved this beautiful campsite. We went in the off season with rain in the forecast but we had the best time relaxing by the lake. The site was private and peaceful. We enjoyed a trip to Little River Canyon. Definitely recommend staying here!

We came in the off season so obviously much more quiet. Regardless, it was a great spot! Beautiful views, saw some wildlife, the dogs had room to play and sniff and we got our alone time without a ton of people. Definitely a must stay if you’re in the area. Only low is there isn’t garbage disposal on site and it’s a trek to find a public dump so keep that in mind. Otherwise it has everything you could ask for! The host Shannon was also very responsive and helpful which is always a treat!

This spot and what the owners set up was really cool a porch swing your own huge dock, picnic table and fire pit!! Very peaceful and the fall leaves and lake were beautiful!! My only complaint would be that is very steep kids can’t run around without me being a helicopter mom, and no kayak entry to make other than that it was great!

We really enjoyed our stay over Labor Day weekend. The lot is a wide pull-through. Hook-ups are positioned well, sewer connection is actually low in the ground, so no hose supports were needed. Site was clean and quiet. Very nice private dock to fish or swim from. No trash receptacle. There are ants so bring spray for the perimeter. Driveway to exit is steep gravel. I used 4-hi to get out with our trailer. We plan to stay there again.

It’s day 9 of 10 days of a perfect lakeside getaway. This site is everything we had hoped for in a peaceful, quiet, very private, and scenic getaway. Shannon and her husband have created a hidden treasure that we will no doubt be back. We’ve had beautiful views of the lake, fishing right off the dock, and even with the heat wave in the upper 90s everyday, we enjoyed just chilling and floating in the water. We brought our tandem kayak and launched it every afternoon from the dock and explored the area. We met several super nice neighbors out on the lake. There is a buffer of trees between the RV site down the hill to the lake that provides some great shade and habitat for entertaining birds and squirrels, yet doesn’t obstruct your view of the lake.
We camped in a 22’ travel trailer with a rear cargo rack. Access in and out is a little tricky but manageable. 4 wheel drive is essential for traction on the gravel drive getting up the hill on exit.
Shannon has been an excellent host answering any questions within minutes.

Our stay at Shannon’s lakefront property was exceptional! The area is very spacious and well maintained with easy access to the lake. Our RV is 36 foot and easily fit on the the lot along with a 8 person tent and 3 vehicles. The RV hook ups (water, 50 amp electric and sewer conveniently located and were well functioning. We also enjoyed the the large dock. It was fun for paddle boating and floating. In addition Shannon was great with all communications!

It's a beautiful spot, private and the lake is lovely. The dock was the highlight and we will be back. It's a pretty steep downhill walk on gravel to get to the lake, so going back up is pretty strenuous. The gravel slides, so be careful. I'm 63 and almost fell a few times. Young folks wouldn't have a problem. Host was great.

Beautiful lakeside huge lot all to yourself.” The property is shaded by beautiful trees is graveled. There is a 30 or 50 amp electric hook up, water, and screw in sewer access. The spot sits on the top of the hill and there is a little stroll down the pathway to the lake. You hardly know you are in a neighborhood except the houses next to you but the trees hide them well. There is a large dock we let the kids play off of and attached our kayaks. Fishing was decent. ***Warning bring ant spray. They attacked our RV but next time we will be more prepared. We read previous people leaving going up the hill with the camper might be challenging but our Toyota Tundra pulled our 19ft camper up the hill well. Just go fast and not slow up the gravel hill . This was a beautiful weekend away and we recommend this site.

Awesome spot, we loved our stay. Lake access is great and the campsite is really big. We made the mistake and didn’t come with a four wheel drive and had a hard time pulling our camper out. Luckily the owner came by and helped us - a lifesaver! Would definitely stay here again! Victoria & Thomas
